Here in the Lazy Mountains, life flows differently. Peacefully. Slower. Here you will still meet old mothers in traditional costumes, discover old stone ovens and maybe even taste Hrušov lepníky or homemade bread baked in them.

Here in the village of Hrušov, where I have my roots, where I grew up and where nature helped me get out of burnout, we invented Lazy in Tiny, not far from an orchard and my grandparents' house.
We conceived the name of this small refuge as a bit of a language game - the word Lazy has a different meaning in Slovak and another in English.
The idea gave rise to a small-large space:
- for solo healing of the soul,
- for romance for a couple,
- but also adventures in a group of four with children.

We have equipped the tiny house with full comfort, in bright colors – it is connected to electricity and water, and its closest neighbors are on the opposite side of the road. All around there will be an endless space of meadows, groves, pastures... Here you can turn off your phone, sip coffee on the terrace overlooking Sitno, ponder the immortality of the beetle while watching butterflies and bees, or feed carp in the ponds with your children.
Or simply come to us for the unique Hontianska parade. Then the whole of Hrušov will come alive with ancient traditions, crafts, and customs. Just in case you had any doubts whether a time machine exists...

Lazy in Tiny awaits its guests from the beginning of April to the end of October.
It is electrified and has running drinking water. But remember that we are in nature here. Here, all the bugs, animals, and birds have their own space.
And we share this space with them and coexist with them - without chemicals ;)

WHAT TINY HIDES:
- double bed for two by the large window
- loft sleeping for two more people (ideal for older children)
- dining table with seating
- kitchenette with what is needed
- bathroom with shower
- flush toilet
- air conditioning unit
- terrace with a view of Sitno
- stay is possible from APRIL to OCTOBER

And by the way, we decided that for every visit that Lazy in tiny will enjoy, we will plant one fruit tree. We want not only to enrich the orchard, but also to continue what the lazy ones were like before collectivization - covered with various types of fruit trees.
We will take care of each tree and, if the guests want it, it will also receive a guest name tag. And when the tree starts to share fruit, they will be able to come and pick fruit from it whenever they pass by.

ATTENTION!
Tiny is not right next to the orchard, it is far from it, but during the fruit season, be careful, we have hornets there.

Hrušovský lepník... klinčoke... homemade bread from a stone oven?

Hrušovský lepník is one of the Slovak delicacies protected by a geographical indication (PGI), similar to Skalický trdelník or Slovak bryndza. The only real Hrušovský lepník is the one baked in a stone oven made of quarry flint stone in the territory of the former Hontianska stool.
To have a chance to taste these delicacies, which are now rarely available, it is worth coming to the Hontianska parade.
The civic association Cesta Hrušovských obyčají organizes competitions in traditional baking of homemade bread in stone ovens...

We have also left you a kitchenette at Lazy in Tiny. With all the basic things that you might need during your stay.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of civilization and relax in nature, why not try it here? Here you will not be disturbed by civilization with its noise or a lot of useless information. Here, set aside your time for a peaceful interior without disturbing elements.

What is worth it here:

- folklore festival HONTIANSKA PARÁDA - it takes place on the penultimate weekend of August. And no, it is not only held at the amphitheater, but the whole village lives by it! The unconventional festival of folk culture has prepared for its visitors not only folklore performances and demonstrations of peasant and craft work, but you can also see what the harvest once looked like, threshing grain, baking bread in traditional stone ovens, wood processing and maybe even burning a wooden mile for charcoal.
Simply - a lot of interesting things that have made this festival one of the most sought-after festivals in Slovakia.

Among other things:
- you can join the Traditional Craft Workshop (you may discover not only the magic of bobbin lace)
- follow the footsteps of the dúpencs - tuff cellars that were used by locals to store wine >> for wine fans, we recommend focusing on the Hontianska and Veľkrtíšska wine routes.

You can also try trips to:
- Čabraď Castle (Lithuania)
- Jankov vřšok
- Calvary
- a tower with views of the surrounding world

Yours can be just as good as ours.
I.e. tested on our two daughters and our friends' children. You release them in the morning and collect them in the evening. In the meantime, they run, discover, search, explore.

Don't forget your bikes, good hiking shoes and go hiking together in the surroundings. And if you want, you can also go to the carp pond together. We will pack you corn to feed.

BEWARE!
During the fruit season, when everything is slowly starting to fall, try to avoid the orchard for your own safety. We have hornets living there, who don't like to be disturbed.
