Hello to the mountains, hello to the mountains! The first rule of mountain etiquette is to greet people you meet on the trail. So on the way to a good vacation, we say “Hey!”. We wave from the village of Pewel Wielka, located on the slopes of two mountain ranges: the Pewelskie Range and the Laskowski Range. The Żywiec Beskids in all their picturesqueness. Here we have a log cabin that shines with cleanliness, for 10 people and your pets.
The house is located on a half-hectare, fenced plot with a forest, so Brutusy, Tofiky and Sonie can romp with the wind in their ears. In the meantime, you can admire the mountains. During breakfast on the terrace, from the charming veranda, from the trail. For example, the one to the shelter - Chatka Lasek. After the rout, time for a bonfire, lying belly-up on the couch, board games and a game on the console. So, see you in Piechówka?
In a log cabin located in the heart of the Żywiec Beskids. The house is spacious, has 170 m2, and is designed for 10 people.
There are 3 spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room connected to the dining room with a large table. There is also a charming veranda with a table, benches and a swing, where you will probably spend a lot of time. For your convenience, we have prepared towels, an iron, dryers and many other amenities. The house also has two terraces from which you can admire beautiful views.
You can spend evenings playing board games, relaxing in front of a Smart TV or using the PlayStation 4 console.
The garden is almost half a hectare and is fenced, so you can let your dogs run freely. There is a fireplace with a grill in the yard. We also have a private forest.

Pewel Wielka is a picturesque mountain village in the heart of the Żywiec Beskids, which consists of many scattered hamlets that are scattered on the slopes of the mountains. It is located at an altitude of approx. 500 m above sea level, and the views around are truly fabulous. You can observe them straight from the house, from two large terraces and from an almost half-hectare fenced yard. There is a fireplace with a grill in the garden.
For a pleasant route, 1.5 hours one way, it is worth going to Chatka Lasek (also known as Chatka Elektryków). It is approx. 4 km trail leading to a more than 100-year-old youth hostel located just below the peak of Mount Lasek (868 m above sea level). The cottage is open every weekend and throughout the holidays. You can knock and make yourself something to drink in the kitchen, relax, and if you collect souvenir stamps, you will find one here. Be sure to nail it in your book if you collect peaks from the Polish Mountains Diadem or to the GOT PTTK.
The trail to Lachów Groń (or Buciorysz) will take you about 4 hours, because it is almost 10 km. It is the peak of the Przedbabiogórskie Range, from which you will admire the panorama of the Beskids. From Lachowy Groń you can continue to Jałowiec.
You can drive to Koszarów and from there set off on the trails:
– to Babia Góra (Przełęcz Klekociny – Hala Kamińskiego – Markowe Szczawiny – Babia Góra),
– to the shepherd's hut on Hala Mędralowa, from where there is a view of the Beskid Mountains and the Klekociny Pass (route from Przełęcz Klekociny to Hala Kamińskiego),
– to the peak of Mędralowa, from where there is a panorama of the Silesian and Little Beskids, Lachów Groń, Czerniawa Sucha, Jałowiec and the peaks of Beskid Makowski (the red trail from Pilsko to Babia Góra, which is part of the Main Beskid Trail, runs through Mędralowa Hala),
– to Beskidek,
– to Jałowiec, and from there to the Opaczne shelter,
The surrounding trails are arranged in loops, they can be combined with each other. We recommend the Tourist Map application, which allows you to control your location, plan and save routes.
Where else can you go?
- to the Żywiec Brewery, the Brewery Museum, the Old Castle in Żywiec and the Żywiec Museum,
- to Lake Żywiec and Lake Międzybrodzkie,
- to the Zimnik Valley at the foot of the Skrzyczne massif, to walk the nature and educational trail along one of the coldest streams in Poland,
- to the viewpoint on Skrzyczne,
- to the Mosorczyk Waterfall in Zawoja or the waterfall in Sopotnia Wielka,
- to the Żar Mountain, to experience a paragliding flight with a pilot in tandem,
- to the Żywiec Ethnographic Park,
- to Hala Barankowa, to watch the spring and summer sheep grazing.
The Żywiec Beskids are a great place for mountain biking. Head to Zawoja and Babia Góra Trails (20 km of trails of varying difficulty), where there is also a dual pumptrack (numerous jumps and a training trail for beginners).
Skiers are referred to the nearby ski slopes in Korbielów, Szczyrk, Węgierska Górka or Mosorny Groń.
What’s there for children?
We have plenty of space for kids to romp around. A large fenced garden, a private forest. You can take them through the forest to the Pewlica River.
In case of bad weather, we also have WiFi, Smart TV, PlayStation 4, board games for the whole family.
What’s there for employees?
The house has a desk, good working internet, a large table in the dining room, a table on the veranda. You can come to work with a small team. We have 10 sleeping places: 6 single beds and two double beds, as well as a sofa bed.
