Nature does not care about our fence and enters as if it were her own. After all, this is her place, and we are only guests here. Our house was built in the buffer zone of the Wolin National Park, which begins so close that it will be the first view you see from your windows every morning. And instead of guessing what and who is waiting for you behind the fence - it is best to go on a trip.
We have 2 bikes for you along with a map with hiking and cycling routes developed by us personally. You will find yourself in the heart of Wolin Island, so it does not matter which direction you choose. A beach with a pier on a lake 1 km from here? Cliffs and a wide beach in Wisełka, where crowds never reach, because it is only accessible by a hiking path through the National Park? Or maybe a viewpoint on Mount Gosań or the historic town of Wolin? However, if you prefer to hide away from the world, feel free to do so. A terrace with a soothing view and a hot tub, comfortable poufs and cushions and an outdoor gym await you. We left our greatest treasures, a guitar and a ukulele, on site, and if you run out of repertoire, we have a speaker. We invite those who dream of blissful sleep and rest with mindfulness of the surrounding nature to the Dream House. On Wolin Island, we have these pleasures at our disposal.
Our house for 4 people is 45 m² and is located on a large plot, away from the neighbors.
We have 2 bedrooms with 160 cm beds, a living room with a very well-equipped kitchenette, a dining table and sofas by a goat fireplace. There is one bathroom, a "walk-in" shower, a rain shower.
One entire wall of the living room is a window with a view of the forest, or rather the National Park. Half of the window is sliding, with an exit directly to the covered terrace, and on the terrace you go to a wood-burning tub, without a jacuzzi, but with a panorama of stars.
The space for preparing meals is compact. The house is equipped with a kitchenette with a two-burner induction hob. Under-counter refrigerator, small but capacious. There is an oven and dishwasher. All utensils and pots are on site, a comfortable place at the table for 4 people, a garden table for 6.
In the further vicinity there are several year-round restaurants and countless in the summer season.
Our house is located in the heart of Wolin Island. Thanks to this, the direction of exploring this largest island in Poland is optional.
Let's start with the water. The nearest beach with a pier is on Lake Żółwińskie, 1.2 km away, the next one on Wisełkowskie: 4 km. You can go to the seaside in Międzyzdroje (8.5 km by bike through the forest or 20 km by car) or to Międzywodzie (15 km) and to other seaside resorts, so that you can park as close to the beach as possible. We recommend sunbathing in Wisełka, where from the parking lot you have to walk 1.5 km through the National Park. There are high cliffs there, and there are no crowds. There are also numerous bathing areas on the Szczecin Lagoon. The water here is warmer than in the sea.
Apart from sunbathing, you can choose from cycling and walking routes. You can go to beautiful scenic spots (Gosań Mountain, Kawcza Góra, the Lubin stronghold, Wolin observation tower). The city of Wolin has a chance of becoming a UNESCO site, it is worth looking for traces of the Vikings here.
If you are hungry for tourist attractions, you can always go to Międzyzdroje, but in our opinion it is better to make yourself comfortable in our secluded place. Private sunbathing area, bathing in a tub under the open starry sky, garden gym with a beater function for both adults and children. We know the best places for mushrooms, and boletus mushrooms grow under our oaks. Cranes, white-tailed eagles, wild geese, rutting ground. What’s there for children?
We don't know how it happened, because the house was planned only for adults, but the kids are taking over the space like pioneers. Our sofa-cushions are ships or islands. It may be a small house, but there are plenty of hiding places. Let's not limit the fun here, but there is no longer room in the house for a special place for children. That's why you can go with kids, if you plan it well. We have board games and a huge clearing to play in. In our forest there is a gym that acts as a carpet beater and a tree to climb. During the day, the tub turns into a swimming pool.
What’s there for employees?
We have checked it ourselves, the Dream House is the perfect place to find a work-life balance. We have very good telephone coverage, fast internet, which has had occasional failures. A large table with a soothing view of the forest. There were also those who worked from a hot tub. If you report in advance, we can set up ergonomic chairs for you.
