The best news of every summer? We're sleeping at our grandparents'! Do you remember that feeling? Going to our grandparents' meant total splurge. Wheat roll with a thick layer of butter and honey for breakfast, washed down with Inka. Homemade casseroles with ketchup for dinner every day when you felt like it. Going to bed at any time you wanted, dirty feet from running around the garden and knees bruised from playing with other kids from the village. Friendships made with local burkas and stray cats from behind the fence. Who wouldn't want to go back to those times? That's why we have a postulate: every adult deserves a vacation like at their grandparents'! You just have to organize it yourself. The main rule: no rules. Just brazen farting and doing whatever you feel like doing. All this surrounded by tall trees, daisies in the meadow and with the possibility of a trip to the Bieszczady Mountains every day. And if you don't feel like moving from your deckchair? No one will know. Everything that happens on vacation with grandparents stays with grandparents.
Śpimy u Dziadków is a house in the former farm of Bartek's grandparents. We renovated it in a contemporary but idyllic style, so as not to lose the spirit of a holiday in the countryside.
The house is divided into 2 independent apartments.
Apartment no. 1 (smaller, 35 m²):
- good for a couple,
- separate bedroom with a double bed,
- living room with kitchenette, sofa bed and table for 4 people,
- 2 people can sleep on the sofa in the living room,
- bathroom with shower,
- exit to the terrace with a table and deckchairs.
Apartment no. 2 (larger, 55 m²):
- good for a couple with a child,
- large separate bedroom with a double bed and a cot for a child,
- a living room with a kitchenette, a sofa bed, a projector and a table for 4 people,
- 2 people can sleep on the sofa in the living room,
- a bathroom with a shower and a rain shower,
- access to the terrace with a table and deckchairs.
At your disposal will be a plot with a fenced green area (the fence is not very tight and dog or cat escapees can get out through it), a barbecue, a terrace with garden furniture and the possibility of showing films on the facade of the house. On the plot, in addition to the house, there are also old farm buildings.
Each apartment has a kitchen, where you can cook as you wish. We have a drip coffee maker, an oven, and a dishwasher, so that no one on holiday has to do the washing up.
It's best to do some serious shopping before you arrive, because you'll be 4 km from a modest village shop. You'll also have to drive a bit further for dinner, so it's better to stock up :) On nice days, nothing can replace breakfast and dinner on the terrace.
We are near the Słonne Mountains Landscape Park and the Chwaniów Reserve, and most importantly, not far from us are the Bieszczady mountain pastures (the absolutely necessary places to visit are: Mała and Wielka Rawka, Połonina Caryńska and Połonina Wetlińska with the famous Chatka Puchatka). If you like walking and climbing in the mountains - we have an ideal location for shorter and longer trips. We recommend you see:

- Sine Wiry Reserve,
- Szepit Waterfall and Ostrowskie Waterfall,
- Solina Dam,
- Open-Air Museum of Charcoal Burning in Lutowiska,
- bison in Muczne,
- Bieszczady Forest Railway (Majdan - Przysłup and Majdan - Balnica),
- "Bieszczady" Star Sky Park.
If you like sports, 10 km from us, in Wańkowa, there is a Bieszczady ski slope, for lovers of flying there is a glider in Bezmiechowa, it is worth jumping over the Solina reservoir (30 km) or riding a bicycle trolley in Uherce Mineralne. Also in Uherce there is the Bieszczady Craft School, where you can actively participate in workshops of dying professions. If you like learning about history, you must go to the Boyko Museum in Myczków, to the ruins of the Fortified Monastery of the Discalced Carmelites and to the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Smolnik.
What’s there for children?
In apartment no. 2 there is a cot for a child, if you want to come with a baby. There are no obstacles to visiting us as a family, but the space is not prepared with children in mind and there are no special attractions waiting for them here.
What’s there for employees?
The internet works well, and if you would like to work remotely, we encourage you to make yourself comfortable at the table in the living room.
