At a glance
I travel, bake, design, and as it turned out recently, I also restore houses over a hundred years old in the Jizera Mountains. Well, actually one house, the one at Chromiec 60. It was here, in the old garden, among the fields, with trails around the corner, that I found my next life goal. Being a Host of a guest house. Someone who will make you a vegetarian breakfast, make your bed like a king and tell you the way to Kozia Szyja.
The renovation lasted 2 years and covered absolutely the entire building. We saved what we could and what was most valuable. The original plasters, brick walls, wooden beams, rafters and old floors still decorate the house. I also added souvenirs from my travels around the world and smuggled in some ethnic details. It is rustic, but without compromising on comfort. Each of the 6 bedrooms has its own bathroom, very comfortable beds with hotel mattresses and an atmosphere conducive to sleeping off the daily grind. In addition, there is a kitchen with access to unlimited coffee and tea, a glass-covered winter garden, a veranda, a living room with a fireplace. When the smell of crumble wafts through the house, look for me in the kitchen, it's worth it. You can also eat fruit straight from the trees in our garden and enjoy the silence. There is only one neighbor and his goats in sight.

Hi, it's Jędrzej! I'm 30 and I've spent most of my life on the road - I've traveled a lot of the world and lived in China, Australia and Zanzibar. But as it happens in life, I finally found a place that attracted me for longer - the Izera village of Chromiec and the over hundred year old, post-German House.
