What happens when a graphic designer living in Scandinavia leaves her heart in the Polish countryside? A stuga, or Swedish for a cottage, will be built, with a view of the fields and forest. A cottage similar to the ones I visited while traveling in Sweden and Denmark, but built in the Masovian lowlands. I am passionate about folklore and folk art, so there are colorful spiders hanging from the ceiling and my posters on the walls. Since the inspirations were Northern European, I built a sauna in the garden, and the house had to have a fireplace. There is a telescope for observing the moon, and the terrace is recommended for morning coffee. The sleeping area is accessed via steep stairs, and the kitchen has already seen culinary experiments such as the pizza "Un polacco in vacanza" with Korycin cheese, pickled cucumber and sausage, i.e. our taste of holidays from 20 years ago.
