This is our top, plateau, tip and navel of the world. From a height of 804 m above sea level we look calmly at the Tatras, Pieniny, Beskids and Gorce. Because when you are on the top, there is nowhere to hurry. There are 90 meters to the trails, 4 steps to the tub, 6 jumps to the orchard, 20 tiptops to the hammock. On the slope of Mogielica, on a hectare plot of land, we have built two houses that are located at an intimate distance from each other. Now you are looking at the one above. For 10 people, with a huge terrace, tub and a panoramic living room with a fireplace.

You will live in a traditional peasant house, made of over 100-year-old fir and spruce logs. The building is like a set of blocks, because it is a combination of three different old houses that were intended for demolition. The logs are from around 1870, and the new elevation is made of larch. So it is just as we like it - top-class craftsmanship, zero waste and the smallest possible carbon footprint. The old beams are traditionally mossed, i.e. they are filled with shaved spruce shavings, and many pieces of furniture come from reclaimed materials. There is a Singer from 1894 that serves as a desk, an old ash horse "harcyk" and a chain serve as a chandelier, and there are also some cabinets from antique shops and a round table with a mountain panorama.

In a house at an altitude of 804 meters above sea level, assembled from old logs (from the 19th and 20th centuries) destined for demolition. We built it on a beautiful plot with a panoramic view, clad it with a completely fresh Polish larch facade, and added a large 60 m² terrace. The house will comfortably accommodate 11 people.

The house consists of:
– a hallway,
– a living room with a kitchen (kitchenette, dining room, sofa bed, fireplace),
– three bedrooms with four double beds and one single bed made from old logs,
– a bathroom.

We added a spacious terrace to the cottage, furnished with old wooden furniture. The house is heated year-round and is electric, but those who wish can light an eco-friendly wood-burning stove.

You will also have access to a hot tub with a jacuzzi, ski and bike storage, and a large parking lot. A wrought-iron grill and a fire pit are also available. The over-hectare plot also includes an old plum orchard and an ancient ash grove. A barn is also located nearby, serving as storage for various artifacts.

We have two houses on the over-hectare plot, but they are spaced apart, ensuring complete privacy for our guests.

We recently added 1GB of high-speed fiber optic internet. Working remotely with a view of the Tatra Mountains will do the job for you.

In winter, winter tires are essential, and sometimes even snow chains, as the last 100 meters of the road may be delayed in clearing snow.

We have a modern kitchen for you, but with elements from old boards. We have equipped it with: a ceramic hob, oven, microwave with grill option, kettle, fridge, dishwasher and capsule coffee maker (a supply of capsules is also waiting). You will not lack dishes, knives, cups or glasses. You will be able to indulge in the pleasures of cooking without interruption. We have water from a deep well, it is very tasty, feel free to drink it straight from the tap. Outside, there is a grill and a terrace with a large table.

If boredom strikes, then with a view of the mountains. And from above, because with us you will be at an altitude of 800 m above sea level.

You will be treated to a view of the Slovak Tatras (with Gerlach, Lodowy Szczyt and Łomnicki Szczyt), Gorce (with Turbacz and Gorc) and Pieniny:
- sitting in front of the panoramic window in the living room,
- resting on a lounger on the terrace,
- relaxing in a hot tub with a jacuzzi, which is most enjoyable in the evenings.

The view here is unlimited and uninterrupted, because there are maybe 4 buildings on the horizon. Almost the same, only slightly wider, can be seen from the observation tower on Mogielica, on the southern slopes of which our cottage stands.

In addition to the view and places to admire it, we also have other pleasures for you:
- a gazebo with wooden furniture for feasting together and playing board games,
- frequent winds that allow you to fly kites - one is waiting for you at home,
- a hammock hung among the trees,
- 1.5 ha of land and a meadow that we allow to be lush and blooming,
- a sky unpolluted by light, which allows you to remember how many stars there are in the sky,
- in winter, sleds, which you can ride down directly from the terrace.

Trails start about 90 m behind the fence. A green trail leads to Mogielica - the highest peak of the Beskid Wyspowy, on asphalt, and ski and bike trails also start (there is a bike rental 800 meters from the house). Check the exact course of the over 25 km long trails around Mogielica on szlakimogielica.pl. One of the nearby bike trails is ideal for families with children. The entire loop is 21 km long. In winter, it is a cross-country skiing trail, prepared by a snowcat. In winter, the snowdrifts are waist-high, and you can jump into them straight from a tub of hot water. There are also educational and historical trails around Mogielica (they partially overlap with the PTTK trail and the running and cycling trail).

We recommend trips to the nearby forest for mushrooms, walks in search of alpine orchids, which can be seen here, as well as all kinds of trips, during which you will hear and maybe even meet representatives of many species of birds and animals. The forested areas of Mogielica are a refuge for many species. Badgers, otters, dormice, wild boars, lynxes, periodically wolves, capercaillies, redpolls, as well as two species of woodpeckers: white-backed and three-toed. Nature here is delightful and is at your fingertips. Deer come to the meadow by the house, and the autumn rutting takes place 250 meters away. In the forest by the house you can look for antler drops, or lost antlers.

It is worth going to the Mineral Water Pump Room in Szczawa (10 km as the crow flies from the cottage). You can walk along historical and educational paths in the footsteps of partisans and Cichociemni, who trained partisans in the "Wilk" camp, located on the slopes of Mogielica. In nearby Słopnice, historical reenactments of Allied air drops for AK soldiers on the Dzielec hill take place in July. For lovers of history, picturesque churches and Orthodox churches, old Polish manors, open-air museums and villas from ancient times, we recommend the Wooden Architecture Trail (a map of all the sites can be found at: www.drewniana.malopolska.pl).

On the 1.5 ha meadow, children can run wild. Pick flowers in the meadow, chase butterflies, go on animal tracking and mushroom picking. In the house, there is a corner with toys, games and books, as well as a cot. Take binoculars and a bird atlas with you, they will certainly provide both children and you with additional experiences.
In winter, play in the snow, make a snowman or build an igloo in snowdrifts. A hill for sleighs directly from the terrace.
