With this name, we don't throw words at halny. Szatra is a slang term for a shepherd's residential building. It just so happens that we have Giewont in front of our eyes, and sheep graze behind the house from spring to autumn. The note about a mountain sports base is also 100% true. We are sports enthusiasts ourselves - Szymon is a freerider and Helena is a Tatra Mountains Guide. Helena will take you on a safe walk in the Tatras or conquering Orla Perć, we can both organize trips and ski touring training for you. In addition, we have friendly rock climbing instructors and organizers of enduro or gravel trips. Ready for a dose of Podhale adrenaline?

The base will be our family home, which will accommodate a maximum of 14 people for a group of sports freaks. You will find us in a quiet part of Kościelisko, where our Grandfather built a wooden Zakopane cottage in 1972. The stairs creak, and the view of Giewont is breathtaking. We didn't want to change much, the kitchen and bathrooms underwent a facelift. And the utility part, where the stately horse Śniady once lived, was transformed into an exercise room with a sauna and a large bathroom. We have 4 bedrooms for you: one with 6 bunk beds and three with a double bed and a single bed, each. We offer the atmosphere of a Tatra mountain shelter with the possibility of ordering brilliant meals.

This house has been in our family for generations. It was built in 1972 in the Zakopane style. It is perfect for a family getaway or a group trip for a group of mountain sports enthusiasts:

On the ground floor you'll find:
- entrance to the house,
- exercise room,
- sauna with a large bathroom (two toilets, two showers, two sinks),
- a cozy terrace behind the house,
- a room with bunk beds for six people.

On level -1 you'll find:
- kitchen with a view of Giewont,
- lounge area with a large sofa and armchairs,
- bathroom with shower and separate toilet.

On the first floor you'll find:
- 1 double room with single beds,
- 3 rooms, each with a double bed and one single bed,
- bathroom with a separate toilet.

You can cook and dine on your own.

We offer our guests the option of ordering meals.

Home-style Podhale cuisine with a touch of avant-garde. All this is based on over twenty years of culinary experience.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Kościelisko. In the meadow below the house, our neighbor grazes sheep during the summer season. Guests can enjoy a room where they can exercise or take yoga classes. After an active day in the mountains, we invite you to the dry sauna.

You can meditate or practice yoga here, either alone or in a group. For your comfort and convenience, the sauna has a large bathroom equipped with two showers, two toilets, and two sinks.

The mountain sports center offers:
- tours with a third-class Tatra guide,
- ski touring tours and training,
- enduro bike tours in the Tatra Mountains and gravel bike tours in the Polish and Slovak Tatra foothills,
- guided mountaineering in the Tatra Mountains,
- rock climbing in the Podhale region.

The Tatra National Park is a 15-minute walk from our house. The Pod Reglami road is the quickest way to the Za Bramką Valley and Mała Łąki Valley, from where you can hike to Giewont.

The Gubałowskie Foothills, with the Butorowy Wierch tourist railway, or the Szymaszkowa Glade, are just a 15-minute walk away – both of these railways offer the opportunity to ride a bike, from where you can admire the most beautiful panorama of the entire Tatra Mountains.

We recommend trips to the mountains with parents, the Tatra Park of Surprises and the TPN Education Center.

In our recreation room there is a desk for remote work, the internet works well, but unfortunately during the high tourist season it varies.
