Sit back and grab some popcorn, because today we're taking you on a journey to a place that could serve as the setting for the most relaxing niche production. The action takes place in Masovia, where wild strawberries grow and rabbits hop. The shots are filled with greenery, warm beige, and dark wood, but the scenes are reminiscent of black-and-white Ingmar Bergman films. The rustle of the wind is the main soundtrack, and the action unfolds leisurely. From a book read on the terrace, to relaxing in the hot tub, to an evening screening on the projector. This is a place for creative retreat in the spirit of literary retreats of old, a perfect base for your Friendly Book Club and Film Discussion Club. The heart of this place is bookcases filled with books and magazines, a comfortable sofa for film screenings, large terraces, and a hot tub. And there are bicycles waiting for you for forest expeditions.

You already know the script, it's time to get to know the shots. There are two Poziomka houses, each accommodating 4-6 people. They feature a living room with a sofa bed and a terrace overlooking the forest. There's also a dining area, a bookcase, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. Furthermore, each house has a projector, and a wood-heated hot tub awaits you at Poziomka 2. We wanted the houses to combine Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian coziness, and we've also spiced them up with touches of the Polish Poster School and a few design icons.

Poziomka 1 and Poziomka 2 are houses with the same layout. They are approximately 70 m² in size and feature a terrace of over 40 m². The houses differ in interior design elements. Poziomka 1 boasts a large bookcase, while Poziomka 2 boasts a slightly smaller collection.

Each Poziomka consists of a living room with a sofa bed, a dining area, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Direct access from the living room leads to a spacious, double-sided terrace of over 40 m². The upper floor houses two bedrooms. The larger one, with its characteristic trapezoidal windows, features a large double bed, a corner wardrobe, and a comfortable window seat overlooking the forest. The second, smaller bedroom features a slightly smaller double bed, a desk, and a chest of drawers.

The houses are furnished with great care. The interior design was based on simple principles: natural materials, closeness to nature, and a minimalist design. Wood, plywood, and microcement dominate the interior. Most of the furniture comes from Polish brands or was custom-made by a local carpenter. Our love of books and cinema has taken on a physical form at Poziomki – in the form of bookshelves, alcoves, and reading spots, as well as a space for film screenings.

The houses are surrounded by a forest-style garden, filled with trees and shrubs with magical names: reed grass, speedwell, foxglove, angelica, wood chervil, and mullein.

Each house is equipped with a functional, fully equipped kitchen. Guests have access to a two-burner induction cooktop, a dishwasher, an oven with a pizza function, and all basic kitchen utensils and accessories. We provide our guests with good coffee and tea. A gas grill is also available.

We cooperate with a local restaurant, so upon request, we can organize a celebratory lunch or dinner with Poziomki.

There are several restaurants and many interesting places in the area offering local products:

Dwórzno Vineyard - the vineyard produces traditional, high-quality grape and fruit wines. Its leading grape varieties are Solaris, Johanniter, Hibernal, Regent, Rondo, and several other resistant varieties. The vineyard also grows raspberries, blackcurrants, and haskap berries, which are also used in winemaking.

Ignaców Cider, Błędów – the creators of this cidery make every effort to adhere to the artisanal recipe for cider production.

At Michrowska Piwniczka, you can purchase organic fruits and vegetables grown in a traditional, biodiverse orchard. We also recommend the traditional homemade preserves prepared by the hosts. Just remember to contact them in advance before visiting – if you arrive unannounced, they might be in the fields or orchard.

Osieczek Mill – we recommend this place especially in spring and summer, when you can dine on the pier overlooking the picturesque reservoir. Vegetarian options are also available on the menu.

Stara Wozownia Restaurant at the Mała Wieś Palace – something for lovers of elegant restaurants. Stara Wozownia is located within the Mała Wieś Palace complex, surrounded by a picturesque English-style park. It's an elegant place for lovers of good food, serving Polish and Mediterranean dishes. The offer also includes local products and wines from the palace's vineyard.

FINNISH HOT TUB
Hot tub enthusiasts (a special attraction for guests at Poziomka 2) can enjoy a fully wooden hot tub. Made of Finnish pine and fired with wood, it combines simplicity and naturalness, and what's more, it smells incredibly forest-like. It can accommodate up to 6 people, making it perfect for quiet relaxation alone, as a couple, or with a larger group.

In winter, it will provide you with pleasant warmth at low temperatures, and in summer, you can cool off in it.

BOOKS
We know how difficult it is to find peace and quiet for everyday reading. That's why we've created a place where, surrounded by nature, you can immerse yourself in a quiet read. You'll find Polish and foreign literature, scientific literature, psychology, non-fiction, and poetry. There's also a large selection of self-development books – about meditation, religion, the body, yoga, but also about the positive impact of the forest on our health and well-being. At Poziomki, you can read literally anywhere – from your bed, sofa, or seat overlooking the forest, to a hammock or terrace.

FILM SCREENINGS
Since you'll be staying at a place named after one of the films by the renowned director Ingmar Bergman, Poziomki is a must-see for film enthusiasts. Each house offers a projection screen and projector. The projector has Wi-Fi access, allowing direct access to popular streaming platforms – without the need for a phone or computer.

BICYCLES
At Poziomki, there's no shortage of attractions for those who want to get active. Guests have six mountain bikes from the Polish brand Romet at their disposal. On the one hand, you can take a hike around the area, along a specially designated trail – a relatively leisurely trip through the charming surroundings. For those who want to get a little more adventurous with their cycling, we recommend mountain biking trips to the surrounding forests. Deep gorges can occasionally be found in the surrounding forests, offering the opportunity to ride in more challenging conditions.

THE THERMAL SPA AND EUROPE'S LARGEST AQUAPARK
After an intense bike ride, you can recharge at the nearby Mszczonów Thermal Pools. This complex of thermal pools, where naturally warm water extracted from a depth of over 1.6 km, allows you to feel like you're in the spa town of Baden-Baden.

SCUBA DIVING
Near Poziomki, there's also a real treat for fans of deeper dives: Deepspot. This 45-meter-deep pool is perfect for scuba diving and freediving enthusiasts. However, if you're not an experienced diver, you can sign up for your first freediving dive under the supervision of an instructor. FORESTS AND MEADOWS
Poziomki is nestled in the buffer zone of forests and meadows. Here, you can stroll along the forest paths, observe wildlife, and pick blackberries, blueberries, and mushrooms. The area is perfect for walks and bike rides – there are no crowds, so it's easy to unwind and slow down for a moment – whether short or long. Wild strawberries definitely help you return to your "factory settings."

In the Wild Strawberry Library, you'll find mushroom atlases and numerous books on the positive impact of forests on our health and well-being.

GRÓJECKIE ORCHARDS – APPLE TRAIL
By visiting Wild Strawberries, you'll have the opportunity to see "Europe's largest orchard." Grójecki's orchards cover 38,158 hectares, accounting for approximately 40% of Poland's apple production. Among the varieties grown here are Gala, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, Red Jonaprince, and Ligol. If you're interested, you can explore the Apple Trail. KAYAKS - JEZIORKA / PILICA RIVER
If you're looking for a bit of adrenaline, we recommend kayaking on the Jeziorka River. The most popular route for this type of kayaking trip begins near the Górki Szymona nature and landscape complex in Zalesie Dolne (approx. 35 minutes by car from Poziomki). You can rent a kayak there for one, two, or three people and embark on a 3-hour trip. The route ends after 14 km in Konstancin-Jeziorna, from where you can take the kayak rental back to Zalesie at a pre-arranged time. In our experience, this route is for experienced kayakers – in some places the current is very strong, and you have to struggle to avoid trees. However, once you safely reach the shore, the satisfaction is immense.

About 30 minutes from Poziomki, the Pilica River awaits you – one of the most beautiful rivers in Mazovia. It's the perfect place for a family kayaking trip or a leisurely trip for two. Kayaks can be rented from WOPR Białobrzegi or Kajaki Warka, which also offer transportation to the launch site and pick-up after the trip. If you decide to visit Białobrzegi, be sure to visit the local Gruszczyński ice cream shop, established in 1936, and try their legendary sweetmeat ice cream!

KAYAKS AND PEDAL BOATS - "SLOW" VERSION
If you're looking for something a little more leisurely, you can head to the nearby restaurant, Młyn Osieczek. It's a 30-minute walk from Poziomki. The route runs through the forest and is not demanding. At Młyn, especially in summer, it's worth having lunch on the pier overlooking the reservoir. Regardless of the season, we recommend trying the meringue there. And when you feel a surge of energy, we encourage you to rent a pedal boat or kayak.

DWÓRZNO WINE
Just 10 km from Poziomki lies the Dwórzno Winery, visited by several thousand guests each year and one of the largest in Poland. Its leading grape varieties include Solaris, Johanniter, Hibernal, Regent, Rondo, and several other resistant varieties.

Every weekend, year-round, you can tour the winery and sample the wines produced there with a sommelier. The tour lasts approximately two hours and includes a tour of the vineyard, processing plant, and tasting. The winery also hosts regular events, such as the Wine Festival, during the summer. The winery also operates a wine shop.
