How many places do you know where you can kayak on vacation? Because you can. It's like this: you park at the lower terrace, where a swing hangs and a wooden table awaits, where you'll probably spend many an evening. Then, hop upstairs to the house, which, as it happens, was once a mill. And some of it still is, as all the existing mill equipment has been carefully restored. The kitchen was once the engine room. Upstairs, the original wooden floor from many decades ago remains.

The mill is a reward for those who pay attention: from the road, it appears to be an unassuming old wooden house. And only a few will know what awaits on the other side. That the terrace offers a view of the river and reeds, which never ceases to amaze us and our guests. That you might even spot a turtle or a friendly duck. You forget about the world, the risk of an unplanned nap in a hammock is 90%, because the sound of the Zvolenka River flowing below lulls you to sleep, and coffee on the terrace tastes infinitely better than in a trendy bar in the city center. After all, how many times have you had the opportunity to relax in a real mill? Pack your bags and come to us for peace, quiet, and a bit of everyday magic. And maybe even to watch the turtles.

Villa Alemłyn is a restored watermill surrounded by nature. Perfect for families and groups of friends, it offers a fully equipped kitchen, a riverside terrace, a living room with a fireplace, a covered balcony, a sun terrace, 5 bedrooms, a fire pit, a barbecue, hammocks, a kayak, and games. A peaceful, spacious, and cozy retreat.

You'll eat what you cook yourself, but seriously - this kitchen is a joy. It's huge, functional, and I've seen men making dumplings there. You can also buy local, country delicacies in the area.

The mill is a true riverside retreat, and you can retreat there without doing anything at all. You can swing in a hammock and read books, watch the ducks from the terrace, or go for walks around the area. You can also simply enjoy the company of your favorite people, organize evening feasts, and finally, talk your heart out. We created this place with relaxation surrounded by nature in mind, and whether you prefer a more leisurely or active experience is up to you.

– Bring your bikes, as there are plenty of trails in our area worth exploring. You can go to Janowiec, for example, or even further afield, using the ferry to reach Kazimierz.
– It would be a shame to live on the river and not fish, so for all fishing enthusiasts, a pier extending far into the river has been built just behind the house.
– Kayaks will be waiting for you on the lower terrace, and we probably won't even need to encourage you to paddle down the Zwoleńka River. The biggest attraction in our area is Kazimierz Dolny. It can get crowded during the season, but it's still a charming town worth visiting. There are beautiful Renaissance townhouses there that will surely catch your eye, as well as the oldest fully preserved organ in Poland, dating from 1625 – still fully functional and playing concerts!; and there's also a historic Jewish cemetery from 1851. And if we were to add a handful of recommendations, we'd definitely go to the Zielona Tawerna restaurant for pierogi sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and walk to Mięćmierz to see the historic mill, old wooden cottages, and glance at the ruins of Szukalski's villa along the way.

Andrzejów, where we're located, is a great base for further trips. You can drive to Lublin or Nałęczów in an hour, and Puławy in half an hour. This is the so-called Lublin tourist triangle. In each of these towns, you'll see interesting monuments, visit atmospheric parks, and spend a pleasant time. And if you prefer communing with nature over sightseeing, there are also landscape parks nearby (Kozłowiecki and Kozienicki). And there's another treat for literature fans: Czarnolas, Jan Kochanowski's hometown, is close by, and in Nałęczów you can visit both the Żeromski and Prus museums.

Our Mill lies within a Natura 2000 protected area. The European pond turtle has its habitat here, and the surrounding area is surrounded by pine forests full of mushrooms and vast meadows perfect for strolls.

With the little ones in mind, we've prepared children's beds, highchairs, toys, and hammocks at the Mill. Children can explore the river's natural habitat, meet turtles from the Turtle Sanctuary, and kayak under adult supervision.

The house's interior, with its old mill machinery, creates a fantastic play space – you can play hide-and-seek, pretend to be a miller or even a ship's captain, invent your own games, and build secret bases. Remember, however, that the house is located on a river, with direct access from the pier to the water, and our terrace overhanging it: keep an eye on the kids.

There's also a horse farm nearby, perfect for hiking, and magical loess gorges await in Kazimierz.
