Podkowa Leśna is a true garden town. It was designed in the 1920s, inspired by the English garden city concept. Its name? No coincidence. Looking at Podkowa from above, you can see that the streets form a symmetrical, semicircular shape. It was in these picturesque surroundings that our house was built in 1936. We spent many happy years here as a family, so the house holds sentimental value for us. Therefore, although we live differently today, we decided that instead of selling it, we would open it to guests who appreciate atmospheric places. As befits a house in Podkowa, it is surrounded by a lush garden, where you can blissfully lose yourself in a hammock. If our hens wake you from your nap with their clucking, don't blame them. We believe that this single, rural touch will add color to your stay. We invite you to our house, 45 minutes from Warsaw, where you can even reach it by suburban train. Come with a group for a laugh-filled time together, long conversations on the terrace, and walks through the forest together. Podkowa Leśna will surprise you with its charming villa architecture, greenery, and silence, which are like the best massage for your mind.

Our house was built in 1936, and its historic charm is evident at every turn. The interiors are atmospheric and full of soul.

The house features two double bedrooms on the ground floor, a double sofa bed in the living room, and three single beds and a double bed in a large shared bedroom in the attic. Guests also have access to two bathrooms.

We recommend Weranda, WineDepot on weekends, and the new Patera confectionery is opening soon.

We recommend relaxing in a hammock by the pond in the summer, and long evenings by the fireplace in the winter. There are beautiful forests nearby, perfect for walks. The Młochowski Forest boasts two picturesque nature reserves.

In Podkowa Leśna, worth seeing:
– the Anna and Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz Museum,
– the interwar villa "Aida,"
– the villa architecture, which offers a walking trail,
– the Parów Sójek Nature Reserve,
– there's also plenty of cultural activity, so it's worth checking out what's on in local galleries, what events are happening in town, and whether there's a concert happening. You can also grab a coffee at one of the atmospheric cafés.

We don't have any special attractions for children, but the house is surrounded by a beautiful garden (watch out for the pond). Kids can observe and feed the curious hens.
