Do you enjoy making lists? We do, so we've made a little cheat sheet of what to bring to our cottage on vacation. First: a swimsuit—because there's a lake behind the fence and a jacuzzi in the garden. Second: the book "Mr. Samochodzik i Skarb Athanaryka" (Mr. Car and the Treasure of Athanaric)—because it's about archaeological research conducted in our village. Third: something to repel mosquitoes and ticks, because the house is located in a Kashubian forest. Fourth: a travel companion, and we don't care if it's your significant other, children, or dogs. However, if you're coming with little ones, let us know when booking, and we'll provide a crib and highchair.
We invite you to the village of Węsiory (Kashubian: Wãsorë), just an hour from Gdańsk. The cottage doesn't have an address, but look for us near Lake Długie, on a wooded plot (Google Maps will help). We have a charming cottage with two bedrooms and a fold-out sofa in the living room, so it sleeps 4-6 people. There's a fireplace, a large kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. And in the neighboring forest are the Stone Circles, a Goth burial ground dating back to the 1st-3rd centuries. The energy is magical, the silence soothing, and there are plenty of spots for kayaking and SUPing.

Hello! My name is Julienne and I live in Gdańsk. I love traveling, but it is in the Kashubian village of Węsiory that I find true peace and idyll. The country cottage was created out of a love for Kashubia and nature. Together with my mother, we wanted to create a place to which you want to return - warm, cozy and close to nature. I hope that you will feel at home here too.
