On these 12 hectares, we have Masuria in a nutshell. We have everything: hills, forests, meadows and a lake covered by a silence zone. Above it, there is a private beach with its own pier, and for you - kayaks, SUP and a rowing boat. We also have 2 houses hidden among the trees, and the nearest neighbors are 2 km away. As soon as we found this plot, we immediately knew that this was THE place for our dream house (and its younger brother). The houses had to be made of stone and have brick roofs, because the Masurian land requires such beauty. And today, when we are not relaxing here, we love hosting guests and sharing with them the joy of this special place. The silence here is resonant; in the morning you can go to the pier with your coffee and not see anyone for a week except those from your own herd.

The Jandra 1 house is located on a lake, on a hill, in the middle of the forest. It has a terrace with garden furniture and parasols. Guests have access to a bonfire area, barbecue, cauldron, kayaks, rowboat, life jackets, and SUP board. There is a private beach with our own pier. Neighbors are approximately 2 km away.

Jandra 2 is located next to the Jandra 1 house. The house is located on a slight hill in the middle of the forest by the lake. The house has 2 bedrooms and a living room with a fireplace and a kitchenette. The bathroom has a shower. The house has a separate terrace with garden furniture and parasol.

Guests at the Jandra house have access to a large kitchen with a tiled stove.
A kitchenette awaits guests at Jandra 2. Among the essentials: an oven, a 4-burner cooktop, a small refrigerator, and a drip coffee maker.

Basic shopping can be done in the village of Sorkwity, which is approximately 6 km away. Larger supplies can be purchased in Mrągowo.

If you don't feel like cooking, you can enjoy the restaurant at a nearby hotel on the opposite shore of Lake Lampackie, a 10-minute kayak ride away.

Taking advantage of the proximity to Mrągowo, it's worth exploring this charming town: stroll the streets leading down to Czos, admire the historic tenement houses, and visit the atmospheric cafes.

Besides, it's impossible to get bored in Masuria. Just take a look at these more or less mandatory spots and decide for yourself what you're in the mood for:

– Castles: Reszel, the Teutonic Castle-Church in Bezławki, Kętrzyn, Ryn,
– "Hindenburg Line" – fortifications from World War I and World War II,
– The Dajna River Trail, which isn't as popular as the Krutynia River Trail, which means fewer crowds in the summer. This doesn't mean it's any less beautiful than its competitor – the kayaking route is 36 km long and starts in Piecki, and can take you all the way to the Marian Sanctuary in Święta Lipka. – Krutyń – the Natural History Museum and a great starting point for a kayaking trip, for example, to Ukta,
– Near the village of Krutyń – the Zakręt Nature Reserve – worth visiting, if only to see the floating islands with your own eyes; strain your eyes and look for the insectivorous sundew among the grass!
– Polish Ravine near Polska Wieś – located amidst cultivated fields, traversing the tall grain fields in summer can be challenging. It's best to plan a trip to the ravine in spring or early autumn,
– the Mantis Peninsula and Bay on Lake Tałty,
– and a classic: the Wild Animal Park in Kadzidłowo with the iconic Oberża pod Psem (Plum dumplings), pierogi with groats and cottage cheese, beautiful expanses of greenery, animals, and that interior! In summer, it's crowded with families with children, so it's best to visit Kadzidłowo during the off-season.
