What's all the fuss about the Tanew River? It's all about the waterfalls. Well, almost. These aren't huge waterfalls, no Niagara, but a series of small rock cliffs formed by tectonic movements. The water cascading over them creates a distinctive roar that delights travelers and residents of Roztocze. In the "Nad Tanewą" nature reserve, you can admire 24 such cliffs. It's no wonder our waterfalls were twice named one of the 7 New Wonders of Poland in the National Geographic Traveler magazine poll. So we know why you're coming here. And what will you find here?

Bikes, a grill, sleds in winter, and the Tanew River flows just 30 meters from the cabin. And the tempting roar makes you want to dive in, even in winter. Guests say the reality exceeds the promise, which is perhaps our greatest reward.

Maria and Dionizy are a married couple from Tomaszów Lubelski who fell in love with a charming corner of Roztocze over 20 years ago. The plot of land near the village of Paary (where Dionizy's grandmother comes from) became their dream place to relax and, over time, also to receive guests.
The cottage was designed by their daughter when she was still an architecture student, and Dionizy carried out most of the construction himself - from the structure to the furniture and the handmade sauna. Maria took care of the garden full of aromatic herbs, which today add charm to every morning on the terrace.
For five years, they have been sharing their place with guests, whom they welcome with great warmth. They will be happy to show you where the best mushrooms and herbs grow - just ask!
