What does Ogonki have in common with Venice? They lie practically on the water. On an isthmus between Lakes Święcajty and Stręgiel. The Sapina River flows through the village, connecting the two reservoirs. So, you can kayak, swim, and even try your hand at sailing. Our lake is incredibly family-friendly – it has a great beach and a gentle slope into the water. We gaze at the lake from our terrace, from our bedroom windows, and from the garden. It was here, on this hill overlooking Święcajty, that we began building our dream home in 2019. With our own hands, using a multitude of old elements, learning from our mistakes. This isn't a place from a catalog – the wood here smells of wood, and the red brick is an inheritance from our grandmother. If you have a keen eye, you might spot something still waiting to be polished.
The house is a typical family home. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, and two terraces. There's a spacious kitchen, a great fire pit, and a flower-filled garden.
