At a glance
It's said that nearby, in the dark waters of Lake Omulew, lies a sunken church. Legend has it that during the Swedish Deluge, the inhabitants of the surrounding villages, fleeing the invaders, decided to hide their church and its precious treasures in the lake. They were unable to find it, but to this day, on windless nights, when the moon casts a silver glow on the water, you can hear the tolling of bells from the depths, reminding us of ancient tragedies and hidden treasures. We haven't heard anything yet, but perhaps you, guests of the Secret Base, will be lucky...
Because it's here, in the Napiwodzko-Ramucka Forest, in the very heart of the forest and the Land of 7 Curiosities (read more below), that we have our ruined house. Old wooden floorboards, a partially preserved ceiling, and roof tiles from a church (not the sunken one :). Upstairs, you'll find four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, perfect for a whole team looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the office. The ground floor is a haven for shared relaxation: a large, fully equipped kitchen for creating and enjoying miracles, and a living room with comfortable sofas invites you to indulge in whatever you don't have time for every day. Perhaps long conversations or catching up on a book. Outside, there's a large, private plot where you can breathe in the forest air and generally feel a little less stressed.

Hi, it's us – Magda, Kuba, and Anielka.
Kuba handles the organizational aspects of Tajna Baza and is your host, while Magda oversees the interior design and all the details that give this place its unique atmosphere. We're also joined by Anielka, our two-year-old daughter, who, with her childlike curiosity, adds even more life and joy to this place.
We bought the house when Magda was pregnant. Shortly after, we began renovations, and a few days after work began, Anielka arrived. We did most of the work ourselves – partly out of passion, partly out of need, and partly out of sheer carelessness.
Today, we can invite you to the home we created with our own hands, and we want to fill it with stories – ours and yours.
The host is not an entrepreneur
When you book accommodation on Slowhop, you enter into a contract directly with the Host.
