Previously, horses and cows grazed here. Today, the house is filled with warmth and flowers, as the lush flower garden surrounding it is the apple of our eye. However, the horses haven't disappeared at all – we are surrounded on three sides by the grounds of our family stud farm. So if these animals are close to your heart, we guarantee you'll be right at home here. We'd be happy to invite you for riding lessons, trail rides, and for the kids to meet the horses during a guided tour. Nestled among them, with our four children and dogs, we live a quiet yet busy life on our plot of land. We live in a house where we have prepared cozy rooms for you, but you won't lack for privacy, as each room has its own entrance and terrace. Come visit us – a place built from a love of nature, with respect for Kashubian architecture and the simplicity found in old furniture and objects. Beautiful views await you, a sky full of stars, and a lake just a few steps down the road. Mateusz will tell stories and chat with you in Kashubian. It will be an inspiring trip. Our property is a house and a cottage. The house (where we also live in our own section) has five rooms: double, quadruple, and five-person. Each room has a double bed and optional single beds, including bunk beds. Each room also has living furniture, a bathroom, a kitchenette, and, of course, a TV and internet access. Each room has its own outdoor access, a small terrace, and patio furniture.
We used traditional local materials, such as brick and fieldstone, as well as old wood (from a barn over 100 years old), from which we crafted some of the beds.
We also offer a cottage that can accommodate up to six people. There are three bedrooms with double beds and an additional sofa bed. It includes one bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room, as well as a terrace with furniture and a barbecue. The cottage has a TV, but there is no internet access.
The property is situated on a slope leading down to the lake. There are steps and sloping paths. It's a picturesque, eye-catching place, but unfortunately, it's not suitable for people with disabilities.
In the common area, guests will find areas where they can relax among the many flowers and plants (especially honey plants). The garden is our pride and joy. There's also a bonfire area and a playground.
The property is surrounded on three sides by the Kolano Stud Farm, and on the third side (across the street) is a green beach with piers.
During the summer, the stud farm has a dining hall where meals are available upon reservation. Traditional, home-style dishes are served buffet-style.
There are several good restaurants, bars, and fish and chips shops in the area (say, within 2 or 3 km). Local lake fish or crayfish are a must-try.
Recommended restaurants include "Malinówka" in Krzeszna, the "U Edzia" and "Rybaczówka" fish and chips shops in Ostrzyce, the "Biały Miś" restaurant by the ski slope in Wieżyca, and the "Zajazd Ostrzycki" restaurant.
If you look a little further afield, say within a 15-minute drive, the choice of places to eat is truly vast. Places like "Modra Sobótka" in Ręboszewo or "U Przyjaciół" are worth mentioning. in Wyczechów. Bramasole in Egiertowo serves excellent Italian cuisine.
This makes Na Pastwisku a great base for culinary tourism.
Na Paswisko is located on the grounds of the Kolano Horse Stud Farm, run by our family, but the grounds, playgrounds, and so on are also open to our guests. Since it's a stud farm, everything horse-related is available. Riding lessons for all levels are available, as are off-road rides through the forests and fields around Mount Wieżyca, carriage rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, and, in winter, if the snow is good, sleigh rides. In winter, the ski slopes in Koszałków and Kotlinka are also nearby.
We are located by a lake, so our guests can enjoy all the related activities. Fishing is possible (a permit must be purchased from the lessor, or you can book online; we'll be happy to advise you) and swimming. Boats, pedal boats, sailboats, and kayaks are available for rent nearby (one rental shop is a few hundred meters away, and a selection of rental shops are available 2 km away). Our lake (Ostrzyckie Lake) is one of the so-called "Ostrzyckie Lakes." The Raduńskie Lakes encompass a total of 10 lakes and a nearly 40-kilometer kayaking loop. From Ostrzyce, you can also set off on a rafting trip on the Radunia River.
We are located in the heart of Kashubia, in a part known as the Kashubian Switzerland (Kashubian Landscape Park), and are abundant with bike paths and hiking trails. A must-see is the observation tower on Mount Wieżyca. The street we are on is the so-called "Kashubian Road" – the most beautiful hiking trail for motorists in our region, spanning 21 kilometers.
For inclement weather and beyond, there are plenty of places nearby and far away, such as museums and various attractions. Worth mentioning are the Regional Education and Promotion Center in Szymbark, the Kashubian Museum in Kartuzy, the Miniature Park in Strysza Buda, the Mini Zoo in Tuchlin, the Railway Museum in Kościerzyna, and the Kashubian Ethnographic Park in Wdzydze Kiszewskie.
Numerous events are held here throughout the year, attracting many visitors. These include the Great Carriage and Sleigh Parade in Szymbark, Hubertus at the Kolano Stud Farm, and music and cabaret weekends in Ostrzyce.
You can also simply relax here. In our flower garden, on the pastures, or at the viewpoints on the stud farm, you can sit, read, reflect, and chat.

Riding opportunities for the youngest: lessons or simply guided tours. Children who already have some riding skills can, of course, sign up for a more advanced lesson or a field trip.

Our wireless internet is not the fastest, but it happens that people who do not need a fast connection work remotely from here, using furniture in their rooms or on the terrace.
