Our Pokrzydowo is the prototype of the village from the Polish novelist's saga. Life here, however, unfolds… much more down-to-earth than on the pages of a crime novel. Down-to-earth, yet idyllic, because the edge of the village, nestled between the meandering Drwęca River and the Brodnica Lake District, can be exceptionally picturesque. Our cottages overlook the Drwęca Valley. There are five lakes in the area, all within a 20-minute drive, and we have a boat and a stand-up paddleboard for you to relax by. Know that the countryside reigns supreme here. We run a small farm with cows grazing in the pasture. We offer our guests eggs from our hens, locally sourced, organic produce, and whatever I happen to bake. They, however, eagerly come back and share their opinions about us, saying that they haven't had such a nice stay here for a long time. My husband and I run a small agritourism farm in the Brodnica Lake District. I'm a teacher by profession, and my husband is a construction worker. Together, we've created our place on Earth from scratch, where we welcome guests seeking relaxation in an authentic setting. We enjoy meeting people and making them experience our traditional, farm-based hospitality.
