In 1938, the meadow where our house now stands was deserted, in stark contrast to the sky above. The blue was shrouded in Chaikas, Crows, and Salamanders, which took off from the highest point of the Zhukov Range, Holica. Chaikas and Crows, if you'll excuse me, but those Salamanders? We forgot to mention that we're talking about gliders. It was on Holica, which you can now see from our meadow, that a glider kindergarten, renowned throughout Europe, operated before the war. From the peak, like a slingshot, planes were launched into the air using a rubber cord. It must have been a remarkable sight, because at the peak of its operations, pilot training was conducted at 54 launches, meaning planes took off at once from 54 locations on the mountainside.

Much has changed since then, and today, instead of taking off in a glider, you can have a civil wedding on Holica, and our meadow has gained several houses, including four of our own. One family home, two for you.
The house in Trawy is our youngest child – with an original architectural design and a refined designer touch. It features a bathroom and... an apitherapy area in the lower bedroom. Yes, you read that correctly, in one of the bedrooms you'll be able to breathe in the fragrant and health-promoting air from the beehive. There's a heated jacuzzi on the terrace, so in winter, after cross-country skiing, you can jump into the bubbles, and then bake a pizza and barbecue in the glass-enclosed summer kitchen. You can also bike to the mountain pastures, or perhaps sip a glass of wine and a book.

On the ground floor, there's a living room with a kitchen and a dining area (with a large table). There's a large sofa, armchairs, and a coffee table. The large windows in the living room offer beautiful views of the surrounding hills. On the ground floor, there's also a large bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with apitherapy available (from May to mid-September). Simply open the magic door and enjoy the benefits of ulotherapy.

On the large mezzanine, there's a bedroom connected to the "bathroom" – it features a free-standing bathtub with a wonderful view of the nearby hills and the sky (a large skylight above the bathtub). There's also a toilet on the mezzanine. Each bedroom has a double bed.

In the clearing where the House in the Grasses is located, there are two other cottages, which we also rent out to guests, as well as our family home. A summer kitchen is available for shared use, which you can use.

We don't prepare meals, but we do have a fully equipped kitchen. We have a winter garden where you can use the grill and pizza oven regardless of the weather.

You know why people come to the Bieszczady Mountains. To escape the noise, to have peace and quiet, to wander, walk, hike, read, pick mushrooms, look for signs of wildlife, eat well, hit the slopes, or even go cross-country skiing. We have all this and more.

A favorite spot for absolutely all our guests is the grill shelter, or rather, the "summer kitchen," where you can spend time from dawn to dusk. We've installed three ovens there – one for pizza/bread, a griddle for perfect frying and baking, and an indoor grill. Here, you can make the perfect pizza, bake bread, rolls, and cakes, make Bieszczady proziaks, or have a barbecue. The shelter is equipped with tables and chairs, and in front of it is a terrace with garden sofas.

The views are magnificent all around, as we're located at 480 meters above sea level. If you look straight ahead, you'll see the Żukowo range, with the Holica peak (761 meters above sea level) and a magnificent 35-meter observation tower within the Ustrzyki Dolne Forest District. You can hike up to the range or to the summit itself, which offers a view of the Bieszczady meadows and the Teleśnica Bay. You can reach Holica on foot via hiking trails, Nordic walking trails, or the "On the slopes of Żukowo" educational trail, which begins in Ustjanowa, near the famous Stanisław Nahajowski cross-country trails. In winter, we recommend bringing cross-country skis, as there's plenty of space to run.
You can also reach the ridge of Żukowo by bike.

For walks in the area, we also recommend the Równianka Stream, located 200 meters from us. You might even spot beavers, and you'll definitely come across remnants of their construction work.

Guests have access to a private jacuzzi, free of charge and without limits. Guests can admire the beautiful views from the jacuzzi. There's also a sauna, available for an additional fee. Instead of a TV, there's a projector with a screen. High-end audio equipment is also available. Apitherapy is also available.

Nature, deer outside our windows. We don't have a playground, but there are walking trails nearby.
