Our home is located in Pringle Bay, a seaside village just an hour from Cape Town. The Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve encompasses the coast and mountain range. As many as 65% of the local vegetation is endemic, meaning its species are found nowhere else in the world. Whales sometimes swim up to our house, and the penguin habitat is only 20 minutes away. The ocean, the sight we long for in Poland, is a daily occurrence here. We even see it from the bathroom. When we want to smell it and hear its roar, we open the windows on both terraces wide. Oceanfront house (container house). Kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, small bedroom with bunk beds and yet another bed in the loft. Three bathrooms. Two terraces with fully opening doors to connect the ocean and mountains with the interior. Wood-burning jacuzzi on the terrace. Fireplace for cold days (this is Africa, after all).

In the "village" there are several restaurants, a pizza place, and cafes. The quality of food in Africa will surprise you. And sometimes its homeliness.

No. Unless you choose to do so. The area (it's Africa, so the area isn't 500 meters away, but rather closer to 50 km) has everything you might need. Beaches (just right next to the house), mountains, horseback riding, kayaking, diving, ziplining, vineyards, whale watching trips (be careful with the season!), Cape Town an hour away, and the iconic Garden Route. In Cape Town, you can also enjoy flights over the city (from a flatbed to a helicopter), speedboats, and sunset tours. Before your departure, we'll choose a package of attractions for you. Definitely the Two Oceans Aquarium, live penguin encounters, amazing beaches, and the warm waters of the river at the mouth of the ocean right outside the house. For those interested, excursions to the surrounding area are available to observe giraffes and lions in their natural habitat.
