I've created an oasis of peace and quiet here, believing in the magic of the space that surrounds us and knowing that a stay in such a place heals better than any medicine. I know that today, true luxury isn't fast internet, but the lack of it. My internet isn't always available, but I do connect with nature and others perfectly. But if you dream of completely disconnecting from the world and finding peace, you'll find it in abundance here. I created this place as a haven from notifications and constant onlineness. I invite you to a true digital detox in my world. This place has its own character. It's part of a roughly 150-year-old farmhouse, surrounded by a garden, greenery, and a daily life close to nature. You won't find catalog perfection here—what you will find is history, objects with soul, and a space that has grown with us over the years. The old house also has its own rules and charms: in summer, it retains a pleasant coolness that provides respite from the heat. Even on the hottest days, you can sometimes drape a thin scarf or sweater over your shoulders inside—just as was once the custom in monasteries, palaces, and old manor houses. And on autumn and winter days, the warmth is provided by a tiled stove, which slowly heats the interior and takes some time to release its full heat. Sometimes a hint of the garden appears on your shoes, sometimes a cat calls outside the window, and nature reminds you of its presence. This rhythm is close to us and our guests, and for this very reason, it is greatly appreciated by them. :) The interior also tells its own story. Here you'll find antiques, objects brought back from our travels, and trinkets that have accompanied us throughout Europe over the years. Among them are traces of the southern sun, a bit of the Netherlands, and many other places that have remained in our memories and found their place here. Thanks to them, the apartment isn't a ready-made arrangement from a catalog, but a space where our travels, experiences, and a piece of our lives are recorded. But what's most important is what's happening outside. In spring, summer, and autumn, you can sit in the shade of the old catalpa tree in the courtyard, relax on the terrace, or simply walk barefoot on the grass. In the evening, it's worth looking at the sky, because here the stars have much more space than in the city. There's plenty of silence—though not always complete: you'll sometimes hear goats, chickens, a cat, or other sounds of rural life. For many of our guests, this closeness to nature, the simplicity, and the peaceful rhythm of the day are among the greatest pleasures of their stay. In such an environment, creativity almost emerges on its own. You can sit with a brush on the terrace, gaze at the flowers in the garden, or choose a motif from the immediate area and simply paint. For me, the opportunity to create is a natural part of this place, and many guests discover their own desire to create here – even if they don't usually have the time or space for it. If you enjoy old houses, gardens, silence, authenticity, and little surprises that remind you of the countryside – I think you'll feel right at home here. This is a space for those who want to slow down, breathe, be closer to nature, and experience a rhythm that's a bit different from the city. :)
