For those who don't know Kopalino yet, we're warning you: this place is addictive. It smells of pine forest and sea, you can hear the roar of waves and the chirping of crickets, and horses occasionally gallop along the beach. Far from the hustle and bustle, close to nature – this is what everyday life is like in this seaside village we fell in love with over 20 years ago. This love gave birth to our house with soul – a haven where we come for silence, the scent of a warm forest, and mornings with coffee on the terrace. Now we want to share it with you. Within 140 square meters, you'll find everything you need for a pleasant stay: a spacious living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room, and two desks for those who brought some work (because sometimes even in paradise you have to send an email). Upstairs, four bedrooms await – comfortable beds, soft bedding, and space for families with children. The 1,300 square meters of land is like a small park. There are swings, a sandbox, a children's playhouse, a volleyball court, hammocks, and loungers in the shade of a willow tree. The beach is a half-hour walk along a forest path or a fifteen-minute bike ride away. And that's probably all we'll say. We invite you to experience the rest of the benefits of our Dream House for yourself.
Our 140 m² house is exactly what we'd want on vacation – spacious, comfortable, and cozy. On the ground floor, you'll find a large living room with a fireplace (perfect for evenings with wine and a book), a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a play area for the little ones, so they can play while the adults cook or laze around with coffee. There's also a bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine, and a large, covered terrace with a gas grill, where breakfasts last longer than usual.
Upstairs, you'll find four bedrooms – sleeping a total of 8, or a maximum of 10 people – and a second bathroom with a shower and a tumble dryer. The smallest room has two single beds (which can be joined together), while the other three have double beds, with the option of adding another single bed if your little ones don't like sleeping alone in the next room. For the little ones, we have a cot, a changing table, a bathtub, highchairs, steps, and stair gates.
If you need to get some work done, there are two desks and internet access. And if you arrive by electric car, there's also a 400V charging station.
The 1,300 m² plot is immersed in greenery – trees, shrubs, flowers, birdsong, and a silence that can't be bought. The kids have their own playground with a playhouse, sandbox, and swings, while the adults have their own volleyball court, a fire pit, hammocks, deckchairs, and a wood-burning hot tub with a view of the garden and the stars.
The house is located on a quiet, dead-end street. A convenient forest path leads to the sea – a 10-minute drive to the parking lot right by the beach, a 15-minute bike ride, or a half-hour walk. You can also walk longer, as there are mushrooms, berries, and that unique silence that's a shame to interrupt with conversation.
If you enjoy cooking (or just stirring pots for relaxation), you'll find everything you need in our kitchen – utensils, spices, and even that pot you usually run out of. Just pop to the local village shop for fresh bread, and if you need anything, Market Melan and Biedronka are waiting in Choczewo. You can eat at a comfortable table in the dining room or on the spacious terrace overlooking the garden. For sausage lovers, we also have a gas grill or a barbecue over the fire.
Don't feel like cooking? That's fine too. You can order breakfast from koszesniadaniowe.pl or visit one of the local restaurants for something local and homemade. It's really hard to go hungry here.
If you haven't been here yet, we warn you – it's easy to get addicted. Kopalino is one of those seaside towns where time seems to slow down, far from the Baltic commercialism, nestled among fragrant pine forests brimming with mushrooms, with a cozy white-sand beach, dunes, and horses galloping along the shore.
We fell in love with this place over 20 years ago. We came back every summer, until we finally created our own haven – a Dream House. With soul and atmosphere, surrounded by flowers and shrubs that thrive here as much as we do in a hammock with a book and a cup of coffee.
During the day, you can… do nothing here. Or nap on a lounger in the shade of a willow tree or sip wine in the sun. For those who can't sit still for long, there's a volleyball court, badminton, bikes, and a forest that leads straight to the sea. You can also explore the beautiful Kashubian countryside, stopping at local manors for delicious coffee or a meal made with local ingredients along the way.
In the evening, it's best to grab a blanket and head to the beach. The sunset here is a spectacle without a ticket. You can have a picnic, gallop your horses along the shore (seriously), and upon returning, relax by the fireplace or bask in the jacuzzi and admire the stars you no longer see in the city. Or maybe light a bonfire, roast sausages, and sing until dawn?
Time at the Dream House flows in its own way. Slowly, well, and with a smile. And we wish you just such a time.
Kids can have a blast here – they can run through the woods, build sandcastles on the beach, and have fun on our playground with a playhouse, sandbox, slide, and swings. There's also a play area inside for those moments when it's raining or parents are craving a quiet coffee. And if nothing else works, you can always turn on a Netflix show 😉
We have everything you need to make life easier for little ones: a changing table, a bathtub, a step stool, high chairs (for toddlers and toddlers), and stair safety gates. In short, all you need is the kids and a good mood.
You can work here too… but in a pleasant way. We have two desks with comfortable chairs and monitors, internet (cable from Orange and mobile from Play), and delicious, unlimited coffee. Emails flow smoothly, but you'll still often glance out the window at the garden and hammock.
