Happiness comes in many forms. Ours took the form of a crumbling shack in the middle of a cornfield. We admit, the view wasn't impressive at first—and we eventually gave up. No, that's not it, we're still looking. But it was it, because two years later we reappeared. There was a hole in the roof, the windows were unglazed, and the boards were so rotten we could stick our hands through them. Are we buying?

We bought. We kept the original stone walls and, with the help of YouTube, slowly, at our own expense, built the rest of the house on them. We repurposed the furniture—both old and new—to give the interior its own unique character. Today, it's our home base, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Warsaw, a place to gaze at the grain, and in the summer, to jump into the pool in the shade of the willows.

Lubików Siedlisko is a house we offer you exclusively. Once a farmhouse, it's now a relaxing retreat nestled among forests and fields. The nearest neighbors are over 250 meters away, so you'll have plenty of privacy :)

1) Interior - We have two comfortable bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds) and a spacious, cozy attic with four single beds (stackable). The attic is open-plan, with no separate bedrooms. The heart of the house is a large living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, and fireplace. The living room features a dining area with a large table. The house is air-conditioned for cooling in summer and heating in winter. Access to the attic is via a moderately steep staircase…

2) Extras - In the attic, you'll find a private home theater (projector + large screen), a library, and board games.

3) Garden - The garden is a large, fenced-in space. In the summer, we'll make a 1.5-meter-deep swimming pool available. There's also a fire pit and hammocks nestled among the trees. From March to November, a soothing jacuzzi and 37 degrees Celsius...

Important: harvest. It's one of the most beautiful and intense times in the countryside.
We want to let you know that in the height of the season, work is in full swing right next to our plot! This means you can witness a true agricultural spectacle – passing tractors and powerful combine harvesters.

Yes, this may mean a temporary increase in noise and dust, but we're sure that this "short discomfort" is fully compensated by the opportunity to observe real rural life up close.

A modern, fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, induction cooktop, and tableware). In season, we try to serve our own vegetables (if we have them 😊) straight from the garden – the taste of such tomatoes is unforgettable!

The nearest shops are a few minutes' drive away, and you can also find Dino just down the road from Warsaw.

At Lubikowo, "boredom" is a conscious choice. You decide how you spend your time:

- lazily: with a book from the library in a hammock, by the pool, on the terrace, by the fireplace, or watching movies on the projector
- actively: we have two bicycles for adults and one for children on site; forest and field paths stretch nearby, and you can also use our telescope
- excursions: we recommend Płock with its picturesque Tumskie Hill, the baroque Radziwiłł Palace in Nieborów, the romantic park in Arkadia, and Łowicz, a town famous for its colorful folklore and traditions.

Use of the swimming pool is included in the price of your stay.

We're parents, so we wanted our place to be child-friendly.

We have:
- a swimming pool,
- a safe space (fenced area for running),
- games and activities: board games, sports equipment,
- a home theater in the attic,
- a telescope.

We provide "reasonably" stable internet (Wi-Fi) and plenty of comfortable workspaces. You can set up your laptop at the large dining table, in the living room, on a comfortable sofa, or – on a warm day – on the terrace overlooking the greenery.
