Too much of everything? Welcome to the Bolimów Landscape Park. Where is it? Nearby, in Wiskitki. It's easy to remember: the name comes from the Russian "wiskitać", which means... to stick out, to protrude or to stand in space. In our space, on the edge of the Bolimów Landscape Park, there is one cottage waiting for you. It is simple and encourages simple pleasures. There is no internet here, and the GSM coverage is inconsistent. In the living room, there is a bookcase, and outside the window... the local cinema: sometimes a summer dawn, sometimes autumn mists at dusk. The cottage is full of natural materials, which are close to me as an architect, because they best affect human senses. Do you know what else has a positive effect on the senses? Long walks in the Bolimów Forest, unexpected candlelight dinners and waking up with a view of rustling grass. If all you need is to seek silence in the field, we invite you. We are only 1 hour's drive from Warsaw.

A few years ago, I traded the fast-paced Warsaw for a life surrounded by nature in the Bolimów Landscape Park. I'm an architect and passionate about building modern wooden houses. Here, I realized my dream of my own organic house and raised beds with a small orchard. Nature, silence, and space – that's what I love most. The place is inspired by the monk Thich Nhat Hanh's book "Silence: The Power of Peace in a World Full of Noise." You'll find it on the bookshelf. It's an agro-hermitage for city escapees.
