"Orzysz Ty!" you'll say when you arrive. It's a true Masurian village, with a wooden fence, a dozen or so houses, and curious goats wandering nearby. The mountain in the Orzysz commune, formerly known as Gurra in German, lies a few hundred meters from Lake Tyrkło, which connects with Lake Śniardwy. It's hard to imagine a more Masurian experience – surrounded by water, forest, and time flowing as lazily as only the countryside can. It just so happens that Góra is also my home village. This is where I grew up. And here stands the 100-year-old house that, after many years, called me back from Warsaw and allowed me to return to my roots. My husband, my family, and I renovated it to create a haven for friends and loved ones. One where true luxury is breakfast on the terrace, evening bonfires, and scrambled eggs from truly happy hens. Here, the kids don't need entertainment or a bouncy castle, as they spend their days watching the animals and picking apples from my dad's orchard. It's also the perfect place for a slow-paced hen party: it has a tub with atmospheric lights, four bedrooms for all the friends, and plenty of space to share a laugh. I invite you to Masuria for a mountain of fun.

The house offers a spacious, open-plan living area, consisting of a functional kitchen combined with a dining area featuring a large family table and a comfortable seating area with a sofa. On the ground floor, to the left, is a cozy bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower.

The first floor boasts three bedrooms, including one spacious one—ideal as a master bedroom. There's also a second bathroom, this time with a comfortable bathtub.

Eggs from happy chickens over the fence :-) In season, vegetables from my dad, apples from the apple tree, and cheeses from Iza's cheese dairy in the nearby village await. You can also buy local honey. In Orzysz, 5 km away, you can shop and eat at local restaurants and bars. I recommend Toscana in the heart of Masuria and Złota rybka.

You can both relax and unwind at home or on the spacious terrace. You can use the hot tub. In the evenings, you can light a barbecue or a bonfire.

The beautiful surroundings invite you to take walks. My house is right next to the Masurian Cycling Loop. The lake is 700 meters away. In the summer, you can swim, weather permitting, and after the season, you can admire the beautiful views. Lake Tyrkło connects with Lake Śniardwy – it's its branch. At the end of the lake, there's a spring.

The surrounding forests are filled with bunkers and old German cemeteries. You can enjoy Nordic walking and other recreational activities. The Museum of the Army, Military Studies, and the Orzysz Region is also worth seeing.

The children have a patio, a hot tub, sheep, and chickens behind the fence. There's also plenty of space to run and spend time outdoors. While walking, you can spot cows and other farm animals.

There's a desk in the downstairs bedroom. The internet works fine.
