Because if someone thinks that in the age of Asia Express, the art of slow travel has disappeared, especially in mountainous regions, it's a sure sign that it's time to shake your inner Muggle and head somewhere where the journey dictates its own rhythm. And you don't need marketing for it.

Welcome to the "brother" house (one of two houses; next to it is the Wilcza Dolina house, and in the distance is Czarny Domek) with three bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a view that will captivate your eyes more effectively than a good Pinterest board. The house is 85 m² and has two levels plus an attic – you have at your disposal two terraces, perfect for slow contemplation (if that's not a great idea, we're filing a motion to redefine it).
Below the cottages, closer to the edge of the forest, is the spa area, where you'll find a sunken tub (like an infinity pool) and a sauna with a view – this one is available for booking for private sessions for guests from Wilcza Dolina and Czarny Domek (our other two cottages).

The kitchen is fully equipped and awaits your culinary creations.

Since the location guarantees mountain scenery and a rural setting, you've probably already guessed that you'll be cooking your own meals here. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you'd probably use at home (gas stove, oven, dishwasher, all the cutlery and crockery), but also some extras, like a fancy Moccamaster coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine.

The host is a mountain man who's been there and has climbed many peaks. Below are a few of his tried-and-true mountain culinary recommendations:
• Cafe/Galeria Pomurnik near Brzegi (a charming place for a coffee break).

• From Brzegi, it's worth turning towards Głodówka – on both sides are places with the most beautiful panoramas of the Tatra Mountains.

On the left, you'll also find Bigosówka – Pstrąg Górski – my favorite place.

Delicious Pilsner on tap and a good, drinkable borscht, sautéed trout or trout with horseradish sauce – highly recommended! It's great after a long walk – I always go back there <3

• If your mountain hikes take you near Łysa Polana – another border crossing – just across the bridge on the Slovak side, there's a small shop where you can buy Studentska chocolate and great beer (you know: Zlaty Bazant, Bernard in squeeze bottles, and various other Ležaks).

• The mountain hut in Murowaniec – the most wonderful beer and the most outstanding kwawica and bigos. Give in to temptation.

• In Zakopane itself – Kolibecka restaurant, Bąkowo Zohylina Wyźnio and Niźnio. Highlander folk at its best – a huge fireplace in the center, highlander music, and 70% vodka. And the service adds incredible color and even surpasses their excellent food. And if you're craving something sweet, check out Samanta's Patisserie near the Red Villa.

Boredom doesn't threaten here, as the entire area, right up to the forest, is at your disposal – perfect for a walk, documenting plants, and making small field discoveries. You'll find numerous chapels nearby, often erected high by the Highlanders as a symbol of their promise of sobriety – a small, local touch that's fun to discover along the way.

Rzepiska and the neighboring Potok offer beautiful panoramas of the Polish Spisz region, and in the nearby villages you can visit churches, sit by the Białka River, or enjoy a truly delicious trout straight from the local farms.

If you enjoy easy trails, Gęsia Szyja awaits, with its Rusinowa Polana and warm oscypek cheese (and sweet and sour żętyca – try both).

If you prefer more challenging trails, the Valley of the Five Lakes is a classic that rewards every step. And when you miss the small-town atmosphere, Zakopane has excellent museums, mountain huts within easy reach, and several places where you can simply eat well. In short: just step outside and the options multiply – from short walks to full-day excursions.

The sauna and hot tub are worth the extra cost – the views are breathtaking! You share them with your neighbors from Wilcza Dolina, but let your host know, and he'll find a suitable time for this blissful relaxation in the warmth.

Children interact here in a pre-fiber optic and TikTok dopamine mode: they organize their own time and activities :)

There are no special amenities for children, but they are surrounded by beautiful nature, and they say nature teaches the most beautiful things. Will you test this hypothesis?

In the attic, there's a separate desk dedicated to work. The internet is usually sufficient for office work, but it's less efficient during peak season and on weekends when there's heavy tourist traffic in the area.
