Zahoczewie is situated along the Hoczewka River, which flows lazily towards the San River. Picturesque Baligród, with its Orthodox church and Jewish cemetery, is just a stone's throw away, and Polańczyk on the picturesque banks of Solina River is just a stone's throw away. So, if you're looking for a base to explore the Bieszczady Mountains and all that lies beyond, we invite you. Life here moves at a leisurely pace, as is typical in the Subcarpathian countryside, and you can enjoy walks through forests and meadows. However, a short car trip to see the Gołoborze Mountains or a slightly longer, hour-long drive to Połonina Wetlińska is enough. And for all those leisurely moments in between, we have a hot tub with a jacuzzi, a cozy fireplace with benches, and a cozy cottage with a fireplace. We invite you to this convenient starting point to begin your exploration of the Bieszczady Mountains.

Our cottage offers a large double bed on the mezzanine, two single beds, and a fold-out sofa in the living room. We also have a very well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful stone bathroom, perfect for relaxing. A spacious terrace with rattan furniture will make your morning coffee or breakfast a pleasant experience.

We, the hosts, won't provide meals, but you, our guests, can enjoy our well-equipped kitchen and show off your culinary skills.

But if cooking isn't your thing, we recommend checking out nearby restaurants, such as Leśne Smaki (Nowosiółki – 2 km); Bieszczadzkie Bistro (Baligród – 7 km); Karczma Miś (Baligród – 7 km); Oberża Zakapior (Polańczyk – 18 km); Gospoda Pod Wielkim Dachem Nieba (Cisna – 25 km), and many, many more!

At the cottage, you can grill or sit by the fire and grill sausages on a stick. We also have a hot tub with a jacuzzi function.

Our cottage is located in the countryside, so another attraction is the friendly animals visiting us, such as dogs and cats. For walkers, we have plenty of meadows and even forests, perfect for discovering new paths. If you're lucky, you might spot deer and bison in the distance, and from a closer distance, foxes or interesting bird species. For outdoor enthusiasts, we have soccer balls with mini goals, badminton, and deckchairs. During inclement weather (and beyond), children have plenty of board games to play. Our cottage is also an excellent base for trips to the mountains and to Lake Solina.

For our youngest guests, our facility offers a playground with a playhouse, which includes a sandbox, two swings, and every child's favorite: a trampoline. There's also a large meadow for running, playing badminton, or soccer (we have rackets, shuttlecocks, balls, and goals for your use). Next to the playhouse is a slope that can be used as a slide in winter.

Please note: our property is not fenced, and there is a street nearby. This area is suitable for older children, who are easier to supervise.

We have excellent internet, so work in our cottage will be quick and efficient. You can work either at the kitchen table or outside on the terrace (there's an outlet).
