At a glance
Podlasie is full of magic. A mysterious forest where bison roam, and wooden architecture dating back to tsarist times. Local houses have colorful shutters, Orthodox churches with bulging towers have witnessed history, and in local restaurants you can try kartacze, venison, and potato cake. However, nature plays the leading role here. It sets the scene for the vibrant atmosphere of the area. The forest surrounding our house always fills us with awe, and watching the spectacles among the trees never tires. Sometimes, in addition to bison, deer or moose make appearances. We built our wooden house near the Siemianówka reservoir entirely ourselves. We wanted it to be minimalistic and not distract from the forest, which peeks in through every window. It has three bedrooms, a bathroom on the ground floor, and a long table perfect for gatherings. If you've always dreamed of discovering Podlasie with a group of friends, now is the perfect time. We invite you to our comfortable interiors and hot tub overlooking the forest in the heart of the region.

Hi, we're the hosts of this Cabin in the Forest.
We've always dreamed of building our own place on earth. One that smells of wood, peace, and a slower life. And… we did it. Not immediately, not without sacrifice, but thanks to our hard work and persistence in pursuing our dreams.
Our timber-frame house was built primarily by my husband. Literally – from the foundations, through the structure, to the roof and most of the finishing touches. He spent nights watching videos on how wooden houses are built, calculating, cutting, measuring, and testing. It was tough at times: so many hours in rain, sun, and frost… but the result exceeded our expectations. Of course, the plumber and carpenter also showed up at the right times, but he did 90% of the work. In the meantime, I managed my business and helped wherever I could. We both have our own businesses and work long hours, but this cabin was our shared dream.
Initially, it was supposed to be just for us. Just our place to escape the world. And then we thought – why not share it with others? With joy, with pride, with the feeling that this place deserves to be experienced by someone else.
We love nature.
The forest surrounding our home is our daily delight: bison, deer, elk, roe deer, foxes, hares. This wildness, which can appear right outside the window, always impresses me – even after the hundredth time. We want you to be able to see it, feel it, and slow down, even for a moment, just as you do here, among the trees.
We invite you to our little world – a place created from dreams, our own hands, and a huge heart. If you enjoy true nature, silence, and a wooden atmosphere, you'll love it here.
