The Karkonosze Mountains? Absolutely. Every morning, upon waking, visible from your bedroom window. Yet not so close that you'll be overwhelmed by the tourists flocking to Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba. If this sounds like a great idea, come to the charming Radomice in Lower Silesia. After the war, it was called Marynki, and gold and uranium ore mines operated here well into the 20th century. Today, our Polish Alaska is happy that no one is mining for gold here anymore. Time passes as slowly as the Bóbr River meandering through the Landscape Park where we are located.

Our cottage was created for families who enjoy active leisure and for friends looking for a convenient base for exploring the Jizera Foothills. Bikes are available for rent nearby, and you can reach the slopes in half an hour, or kayak or raft along the Bóbr River. You can also relax completely - on a deckchair, looking into the distance, contemplating the beauty of the local area or thinking about what to grill in the evening.

Na Skarpie Cottage is nestled among greenery, offering a beautiful panorama of the entire Karkonosze and Jizera Mountains.

It consists of two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and a large window overlooking the Karkonosze peaks. The bedroom also features a large armchair for reading or relaxing, and a TV.

The second bedroom has two large, comfortable beds. On the first floor, there's also a toilet with a sink.

Stairs lead down to the ground floor. On this level, you'll find a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, large refrigerator, coffee maker, stove, microwave with oven, kettle, and all the kitchen essentials). The living room features a spacious sofa bed that sleeps two people. There's also a children's play area. There's also a table with chairs for six, a large TV, and a panoramic window with access to a large terrace offering panoramic views of the Karkonosze Mountains.

On this level, there's also a spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine, and hairdryer. Each room has air conditioning and underfloor heating.

Importantly, our cottage isn't the only one on the slope. The neighbors' vacation home is located nearby, and is also rented out to guests.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at the nearby restaurant/hotel, Turkusowa Wyspa. Renowned for its excellent biodynamic vegetarian cuisine, based on local produce, it's definitely worth a visit.

Farm eggs are available nearby.

Our cottage is located near the Karkonosze and Jizera Mountains in the town of Radomice (Wleń commune). The immediate vicinity of the house is filled with forests and meadows offering a beautiful panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains. Be sure to check out the old Lenno Palace, the Pilchowice Dam, and kayaking/rafting on the Bóbr River in the immediate vicinity.

The cottage is located approximately 15 km from Jelenia Góra and approximately 35 km from Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, and Świeradów-Zdrój. It can be an excellent base for trips to these popular ski and hiking resorts.

There are numerous cycling paths in the area, including numerous singletrack trails in the Jizera and Karkonosze Mountains. The renowned Valley of Palaces and Gardens is also nearby, featuring interesting castles such as Chojnik. The entire Karkonosze and Jizera Mountains boast kilometers of beautiful hiking trails.

Children can enjoy horseback riding at a nearby stable. We highly recommend taking advantage of the nearby kayaking and rafting opportunities, such as the Rainbow Rafting in Nielestno.

In Jelenia Góra, 15 km away, you can enjoy attractions such as the Projekt Boulder climbing wall, the Wild Jump trampoline park, and Flow Ride guided tours (electric bike rentals are also available). You can also take snowboarding or skiing lessons in Szklarska Poręba: www.snowboardszklarska.pl.

The cottage has very good internet enabling remote work.
