You don't have to go to the seaside for good fish. Just go to Radzyń. There are two fish fry shops here, which attract everyone from the area—from summer vacationers to people who have lived here for years. It's good that these places haven't yet made it onto Książula's radar, because there really aren't any long lines.
Speaking of local life, it's worth popping to the market in Sława on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can enjoy the small-town charm, the conversations at the stalls, and the vibrant life of the region. Remember, however, that we are also in the Lubusz Voivodeship, a Natura 2000 area, where silence and birdsong are commonplace, not a highlight.
