Creating this place came to us on a whim. First, we needed a home that would be perfect for hiking, but also perfect for just staying in. A moment later, we knew it would be built on the slopes of the Silesian Beskids. And then everything went downhill from there. That's how we ended up in Górki Wielkie.

Hi travelers, my name is Sławek.
I enjoy being active and discovering new places – running, mountain biking, traveling, and winter swimming give me energy and joy. I work professionally in Mass Timber construction, which also inspired the creation of the Hvile cottage using this technology. Although I often travel the world, I always return with a smile to Górki Wielkie – the place where I feel most at home. I appreciate the purity of the river, the closeness to nature, and the friendly people who make this place unique.
In the heart of nature, with a panoramic view of the Beskid Mountains, we have created a place designed for true respite.
"Hvile" means relaxation in Danish – and that's exactly what we want to offer you. The idea was born while running together, when we realized how much we need a space in life where we can slow down, feel peace, and enjoy the beauty of nature. We have created a home that combines simplicity and luxury, minimalism and comfort. A place where silence is our greatest asset, and the view from the window becomes the best morning greeting. Hvile is the perfect base for both those who dream of blissful relaxation with a book and those who enjoy active leisure – mountain trails, ski lifts, and bike paths await right outside our door.
Our cottage is a family project, built on respect and attention to detail. We share with you what is most important to us – peace, space, and the feeling that you are in good hands.
