The Black Cottages in Krempna stand where the Beskid Niski Mountains say "slow down," and Magura National Park nods in agreement. Deer rush in here at dawn as if to their favorite pub, and the night sky is so dark that the stars have full scope. A telescope? No need. All you need is a deckchair and a moment of leisure. The cottages were built by hand from foundation to roof—and you can feel it. Everything here has a purpose: a glass-enclosed bedroom designed for admiring the mists and sunsets, a private jacuzzi for warming up after the trail, and comfortable interiors where it's easy to forget that there's a "to-do" list somewhere.
However, if you're tempted to venture further than the terrace to the jacuzzi, the surrounding area rises to the occasion, along with the surrounding peaks. Magura National Park is a paradise for hikers and those who like to return from hikes with a story to tell. There are trails, old Lemko villages, Orthodox churches, symbolic doors in the middle of the forest and the Magura Field Badge to be won. We invite you to the Black Houses in Krempna. Accept our invitation as if from good friends who say: "come, see, stay longer than you planned."
