The Rożnów Foothills are one of the oldest settled areas in Lesser Poland. For centuries, life here has been organized by the Dunajec River, a river that has determined the rhythm of daily life and the direction of travel. Today, it flows much more calmly, creating Lake Czchowskie, but the character of this place remains the same, far from the mainstream and mass tourism. These are foothills, not mountains. The landscape is gentler, more about mindfulness than conquest.
Local stories and legends also feature Tropsztyn, the castle on the other side of the lake, with tales of hidden treasures and extraordinary discoveries. We treat them as tales that have been circulating here for generations, but one thing is certain: this area has always been chosen as the location for the next chapter. And not by accident. The name Tropie itself is associated with words meaning a bend, a turn, and a change of direction. And that's precisely what you feel most strongly about here. It's a place for those who need a moment of pause, a quiet reset, or space to take a new direction. Tropianka fits naturally into this landscape. An old cottage, renovated and exclusively furnished, this home blends seamlessly with its surroundings. Renovated with meticulous attention to detail by the hosts, it retains the simplicity and tranquility of this place. Blue shutters and stone floors complement the interior. There's an old orchard, a terrace overlooking the rolling hills, and a separate barn with a sauna, perfect for slowing down.

My name is Małgorzata, and Tropianka arose from the need to create a place that flows at its own pace. It's an old house that has been completely renovated, designed with simplicity, peace, and everyday comfort in mind. I wanted to preserve the character of this space and present it to guests in the way I would like to relax here myself.
Tropianka doesn't impose a schedule or pace. It's a place where you can slow down, spend time together, or simply be yourself. Although I'm not on-site every day, I always stay in touch and will be happy to help if needed.
I hope that the time spent in the space we offer you will be a good, peaceful time for you. One you'll want to look back on.
