At a glance
The meeting point of worlds lies at the end of Poland. Or perhaps the beginning? Here, where East and West mingle, a melting pot of Polish, Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Jewish cultures has simmered for centuries. Today, life moves at a much slower pace—much like the Bug River meandering 500 meters from our homes. The borderland inspires. It encourages us to discover the history of our ancestors and observe the traces of their cultures. The borderland is calming. It's home to wildlife and few people. So if you've long dreamed of one day traveling to the ends of the earth, your opportunity has just arisen. Don't look for an excuse—get in your car and stand before the green, blue, or red doors of houses that will welcome you with the best that Polesie has to offer. Admire the panorama of endless meadows, sleep in undisturbed silence, and at night gaze at the sky unpolluted by artificial light. And while simple joys have infinite charm, don't forget about those that fall under the category of "hedonism." A sauna, hot tub, and swimming pool are included in the price of your stay. Need some exercise to keep your balance in check? We suggest a game of basketball, a bike ride, or a kayaking trip down the Bug River from Włodawa to our Stawki. The possibilities are endless, so choose the relaxation you enjoy most. Savor the abundance of the borderlands.

Magdalena completed resocialization, the University of Physical Education, and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), and then a two-year ceramics program at Ceramiq in Warsaw, graduating with a degree in artistic ceramics. People, movement, land, and craftsmanship—the four elements from which she built this place.
She splits a year between Cascais and Polesie. It's one of the last such lands in Europe: wetlands, peat bogs, floodplains, alder forests, and meadows, where cranes and storks are a backdrop, not an attraction.
Under the Wypaleni Słońcem brand, she creates ceramics: mugs, plates, and bowls. Each item is unique, each one made and fired by her from start to finish. The vessels you drink your morning coffee from here don't come from a store.
The Polesie East is her idea and her work. Three houses, a swimming pool overlooking the floodplains, a sauna, a fireplace, and a silence you can't buy in the city.
