If you've had enough of all-inclusive holidays, we have a different proposition for you. We'd call a stay in the Land of the Wild Duck wild inclusive. Instead of a hotel room overlooking the resort, you'll check in high in the trees. Instead of tourists in flip-flops, your neighbors are singing birds. When you get down to earth, you won't see any chlorinated pools. A view of ponds, forest, and the lazily flowing Mroga River unfolds before you. Wait a minute, what's that commotion behind the trees? It must be a flock of sheep searching for the tastiest grass in the pasture. Are you hungry too? Hunt down something delicious in our restaurant! A feast full of not only flavors but also views awaits you. Our menu is based on seasonal produce and is a combination of traditional cuisine with European flavors. Breakfasts included in the price will brighten up every morning. And what will you do for the rest of the day? We suggest the 2x "O" package – Discovery and Relaxation. We recommend walks, a trip to the nearby beach, and wildlife watching. We'll provide you with nature-watching equipment, including night vision goggles and binoculars. And after a day of observing, we invite you to the Czatownia-SPA for a massage among the trees and a beauty treatment. Come to the Land of the Wild Duck for a vacation you'll long remember.
Wild Duck Country encompasses 20 hectares of forests and meadows. It's a vibrant space, inviting you to discover nature in its many forms. Our landscapes—from a pond, to a river, to dense treetops—will allow you to deeply relax, escape your daily routine, and learn something new about the plant and animal world.
You will have access to one of five Lookouts, each slightly different.
We have one Lookout for a couple (with the option of an extra bed), one for up to 4 people, and three for up to 6 people.
The Lookout for 2 people (26 m²) has a private sauna.
The Lookout for up to 4 people (35 m²) has two single beds (mattresses) and the option of sleeping on a futon for 2 people.
The Lookouts for up to 6 people (45 m²) have a mezzanine. One also has a private hot tub.
There's a restaurant in the Wild Duck Country where you'll be invited for breakfast, which is included in the room rate. You can also purchase other meals there if you'd like.
We invite you to our Trzy Mosty restaurant. Our cuisine is based on seasonality and local produce, which inspires us to create unique flavors. Each dish tells a story – about the region, its riches, and the passion that drives our team of chefs. The menu changes with the seasons to maximize the abundance of fresh ingredients and provide guests with unforgettable taste experiences.
Our restaurant also serves delicious continental breakfasts, which are included in the price of your stay.
On-site (in and around your birdwatching area):
· 4K Birdwatching: Your main activity will be birdwatching. From the birdwatching windows, you can spy on life teeming with life at the intersection of water, reeds, and forest. Binoculars are the most important accessory here. You'll receive them at registration upon check-in.
· Sauna Ritual: This is the perfect way to end the day – a view of nature through the glass, soothing warmth, and complete isolation from the world.
· Peace and Quiet: Morning coffee on the terrace, with mists drifting over the water, and the only sound being birdsong. It's the perfect time to curl up with that book you've always been missing.
In the immediate vicinity:
· Łódź Hills Landscape Park: Forget that central Poland is flat! Hills, ravines, and beautiful beech forests await you here. These are ideal areas for trekking and challenging bike rides (the so-called "Łódź Bieszczady Mountains"). Rogów Arboretum and Alpine Garden: one of the most beautiful and species-rich places in Poland. A walk among exotic trees and blooming plant collections is a feast for the senses (especially in autumn and spring).
Rogów-Rawka Narrow Gauge Railway: a treat for lovers of retro vibes. A ride on a historic train through picturesque surroundings is a great way to spend a free afternoon.
Kayaking on the Mroda or Rawka Rivers: for those seeking water sports, the surrounding rivers offer intimate, green kayaking routes that allow you to see the region from a completely different perspective.
Nieborów and Arkadia: A little further on, you'll find the Baroque palace and romantic garden of Helena Radziwiłł – the perfect place for a long, cultural stroll amidst beautiful architecture.
In the Land of the Wild Duck, children relive their childhood in an analog version. There are no "don'ts" here, but curiosity, mud on their shoes, and wind in their hair.
On-site:
· Our entire flock of sheep is waiting to be petted! It's an incredible lesson in empathy and peace. Our friendly dogs, always eager to wag their tails and go for walks, also keep them company.
· A natural playground: the forest and vast meadow offer the best space for exploration. Here, a fallen tree, dense undergrowth, and tall grass are the playgrounds. Children build shelters, search for tracks, and simply enjoy freedom.
· Adventure observatory: the lookouts with their large windows are like command posts for children. Watching wild ducks or cranes teaches patience better than any app.
Nearby (Experience-packed trips):
· Lisowice Project (approx. 10 min): When the sun gets hot, you can jump into the local outdoor pools or relax on the sandy beach. There's a playground for younger kids, and for older kids, there's a ropes course and wakeboarding. It's the perfect place to let off steam before winding down in the evening at the lookout.
· Rogów-Rawka Narrow-Gauge Railway (approx. 15 min): This is one of the longest operating narrow-gauge railway lines in Poland. A ride on a historic open-top train is a time travel experience for kids they won't forget.
· Rogów Arboretum and Alpinarium: Right next to the railway, you'll find a huge forest garden. It's the perfect place for a "forest maze" – children can run among trees from around the world and learn about nature with all their senses.
Dino-Park in Kołacinek (approx. 10-15 min.): If you have dinosaur fans at home, this place is a must-see. The park is located in a picturesque valley, offers walks along a Mesozoic Era trail, and plenty of space to play.
Łódź Hills Landscape Park: The surrounding ravines and hills (the so-called "small mountains in the heart of Poland") are a great area for family cycling trips or hiking "peak conquests."
Łódź Zoo Orientarium (approx. 40 min.): You can visit Łódź for a day to see the famous elephant bath and walk through an underwater tunnel among sharks.
Our kids are exhausted by evening, but with smiles on their faces and their heads full of stories about sheep, forests, and adventures.
If your office has stopped inspiring you, swap the view for a panoramic forest view or a vibrant pond. The lookouts are the perfect place for a "workation," where the line between work and relaxation blurs in the most soothing way. Come join us for a few days to combine professional responsibilities with the kind of regeneration you can only dream of in the city.
We provide stable Wi-Fi in the restaurant, so you can easily participate in video conferences (though be warned – the view behind you might make the rest of the team jealous!).
Instead of walking to the office kitchen, you can head out to the terrace during your break, breathe in the forest air, or go say hello to our flock of sheep. It's the best way to quickly reset your mind.
And when you close your laptop, you don't have to sit in traffic. In a minute, you're in the sauna or on a forest trail. These are ideal conditions for those who need to focus on important projects.
