At a glance
There are addresses that completely defy algorithms and obvious categories. On the one hand, you're just 10 minutes from Poznań's Old Market Square, the bustle of restaurants, and evenings at the theater. On the other, a hammock in the garden, birdsong, and the river, which dictates a completely different rhythm, await you.
Welcome to Szeląg, where the pulse of the city seamlessly dissolves into the riverside wilderness.
At our marina, we've created seven simple, wooden havens. Four of them are hidden in the garden, which we've been tending for years, and three are moored directly on the Warta River.
Houseboats offer a rare opportunity to live right on the river – from your private terrace, you can catch the sunrise and watch the changing light with a coffee in hand. We designed the interiors so they don't clash with the surroundings: we let in plenty of natural light and opted for subdued colors and larch wood. Because the most important things happen outside anyway.
We create this place as a family. My name is Ida, and together with my parents – as a family of artists – we ensure that the space lives at its own, slower pace. Animals visit here, and in the summer season, our café, right next to the cottages, bustles with life, hosting intimate concerts and meetings in the evenings. If you feel a surge of creative inspiration, I invite you to my studio for a ceramics workshop.
Time moves a little slower here. You can take a sunset cruise, birdwatch from the deck of a barge, or kayak along the Warta River. The Wartostrada runs right next door – perfect for cycling. And what about the evening? In the evenings, it's best to stay put, by the fire, with a book, or simply without a plan.
This is a great place for a deep breath as a couple, but also for a reset with a larger, friendly group. A little wild, a little urban – close to everything, yet proudly standing apart.

Sometimes we are on-site, sometimes we're not
My name is Ida, and together with my parents, I run a small marina with cottages for rent on the Warta River in Poznań. We're a family of artists :) We also run a café next to the houses. We've been tending the grounds for years. It's an old garden with fruit trees, varieties that are hard to find anywhere else anymore. It's also a popular spot for animals. We host small concerts in our café. My passion is creating ceramics, and next to the cottages, I have a pottery studio where you can try your hand at creative activities. We're often on site – we're happy to chat and help with anything you need during your stay :)
