At a glance
First, Basia and Mariusz created the Cloud School, seeking more freedom for children and families than a rigid system could offer. Then they felt it was worth descending from the virtual clouds to the ground. That's how the Glade was born—a few hectares of nature near Warsaw, where cottages, yurts, forest, fire, children, and adults create a living ecosystem of relationships.
You enter the wooden cottage, and through a huge glass wall, greenery peers right in. But the Glade isn't just a place to stay. We only provide you with a portion of the cottages, while the rest of the place lives its own rhythm—created by the hosts, families, children, and the people who co-create this space.
In the morning, you wake up to birdsong, light through the trees, and the smell of breakfast. The children disappear into the thicket, soaking up the freedom without a rigid schedule, while you catch your breath in the hammock, wash away the city dust in the outdoor pool, or steam off in the sauna.
In the evening, you add wood to the fire. Someone tells a story, someone gazes at the stars, someone laughs with their children by the fire. We created this place for families who, instead of another hotel stay, seek nature, freedom, and simple togetherness.

Social activists, founders of Szkoła w Chmura (School in the Cloud) – Poland's largest alternative school, developed based on trust in young people and their responsibility for their own learning.
The Glade is their next child. A physical space that invites shared being, interdependence, shared responsibility, sensitivity, and attentiveness to one another.
Their long-term intention is to create a community of adults and young people, parents and children of all ages, a village that will provide space and support for education, development, and creativity.
