At a glance
Blue doors, a shingled roof, a crackling fire in the tiled kitchen, striped beds, embroidered wall hangings, and Włocławek pottery. Is this an open-air museum, or can you make tea and bake potato pancakes here? Come and make yourself comfortable; we have room for four, a swing, and a sandbox in the garden. And what about the surroundings? Surrounded by, of course, are old orchards, currant fields, meadows, and that one dirt road that leads only to our over 130-year-old cottage. Here, you can breathe in the country air and cook over an open fire with fresh ingredients from the farmer.
On warm summer days, the scent of flowers and herbs wafts from the meadows, and the sweet juice of ripe currants drips down your hands. However, you don't have to live like you did over a century ago. Enjoy the benefits of modern attractions such as bike trails (we've taken care of the bikes), kayaking, Łowicz region museums, and horseback riding. We cherish tradition and combine old with new. We have clay walls and internet access, and nearby are handicraft workshops and a motor museum. Here, you can enjoy local beer and espresso. Children can run around in the yard or on the nearby sensory path. Join us in our dialogue with the past!

In love with the idyllic, rustic atmosphere and folklore, we decided to rebuild a family cottage in Nieborów, over 130 years old, from the ruins. Although Nieborów was not part of the Duchy of Łowicz, the cottage's owner came from Popowo, so the colorful Łowicz culture reigned supreme in the wooden house. During the renovation, we took cottages from the nearby Open-Air Museum in Maurzyce as a model. We are delighted by every preserved, worn-out beam, old board, restored piece of furniture, and reused item from grandparents and great-grandparents. Clay walls, colorful faience, and paper cutouts—that's our vibe. Maybe yours too? We invite you to a home with history and a good atmosphere.
