Henryk Sienkiewicz's father was born in Woźnawieś, but that's not the most important reason to come here. The most important is Biebrza National Park. A short walk begins from here. Anyone who has once seen Biebrza and its floodplains knows that the spectacles of local nature are unforgettable. Those who still have them before them are among the lucky ones. And if you'd like to explore the area in a very comfortable and refined setting, I know how to elevate your level of happiness. I invite you to one of the two houses nestled on Lake Dreństwo.

Its minimalist yet cozy bedrooms, finished with natural materials, can accommodate up to eight people. Each room includes a comfortable bed and a ticket for a skip-the-line shower, as the 160-square-meter house boasts three bathrooms. In summer, swap the shower for a dip in the lake: just a few steps away, you'll find yourself on a private beach. A house with such a convenient location would be complete without water sports equipment: SUP, boat, kayaks, and even a pedal boat await you. And while it's easy to settle in, don't miss out on exploring the surrounding area. Be captivated by the Red Swamp, the mist over the Biebrza River at dawn, and the sight of a moose in the tall grass.

Welcome to our picturesquely situated, year-round house on Lake Dreństwo in Podlasie.

The house has an area of 160 m². On the ground floor, in an open-plan space, you'll find a living room, kitchen, and dining room. On this level, you'll also find a bathroom with a shower and a sauna. Upstairs, you'll find four bedrooms, each with double beds (two of which can be converted into single beds), and two bathrooms with showers. You can be sure that no one is queuing for the bathroom in the morning. Just remember that our towels are for household use only. You'll need to pack your own for the beach.

There's also a second house on the property, which we're not currently renting out on Slowhop.

The spacious and well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook. Behind the kitchen island, you'll feel like the host of a cooking show. You'll enjoy your home-prepared meals at the large, comfortable kitchen table, with plenty of room for everyone – this isn't one of those houses with only six chairs for eight people.

And if you'd rather take a break from cooking, nothing could be simpler. You can head to a nearby tavern for a fish dinner, or to the nearby Zagroda Kuwasy Slowhop. It's only 5 km away. Maybe you'll manage to grab a delicious home-cooked meal or stock up on homemade preserves or cheeses?

Our house is located in the buffer zone of Biebrza National Park, on Lake Dreństwo, with its own shoreline. It has beach access and a private pier, and you can use our kayaks, boat, SUP, and pedal boat.

When you've had your fill of lakeside fun (though that never gets boring!), we have bikes for you to explore the surrounding forests and lakes.

Remember that our location is beautiful and interesting not only in high season: in winter, nearby cross-country skiing trails await.

How to spend a great time in the Biebrza Valley? We have a few ideas.
- Go kayaking down the Biebrza River or the Woźnawiejski Canal and see the marshes from the water.
- Rise before dawn and watch the mists rising over the Biebrza River – one of the most magical natural spectacles to be witnessed in this part of the country. – Spot moose while walking and cycling along the surrounding roads and paths. The Biebrza Valley is famous for them.
– Pack your binoculars and try your hand at birdwatching – Biebrza is one of the most important bird sanctuaries in Europe.
– Go on a photography safari – at dawn and sunset, the light over Biebrza can stay still for several hours.
– Discover the Czerwone Bagno nature reserve, one of the wildest corners of Podlasie.
– Go to Osowiec and see the famous Osowiec Fortress and the Biebrza nature trails.

While we haven't prepared any special attractions for them, children will never be bored at the lake – they can jump from the jetty, paddleboard, and make sand pies on the beach. Just remember to always keep an eye on them while they're playing in the water.

At home, you'll find a large table in the living room for collaborative work, and a desk in one of the bedrooms. We have internet access, peace and quiet.
