If you want to practice doing things your way, you'll find it in Wolimierz. This picturesque village attracts those who, instead of following the crowd, prefer to find their own way of life. Artists, travelers, and those who prefer a slower pace flock here. From them, you can learn peace and quiet and how to do things in a way that brings peace to your mind and spring to your heart. Here, you'll encounter horses strolling the streets, deer and pheasants peeking into houses. You'll feast on local specialties, handicrafts, and ceremonies. You'll discover the beautiful Jizera Foothills and its extraordinary inhabitants. The village boasts unique half-timbered houses, a gallery and workshop, the Puppet Clinic Theatre at the old train station, colorful music festivals in the summer, and sometimes neighbors open a food truck and serve pancakes.

Besides the art outside, we also have art inside. It feels good in the company of oak floors, oiled countertops, and stone tiles. You can also add a home cinema with a projector and music from vinyl records played on a decent Hi-Fi system. A professional espresso machine will take care of your coffee, and we've provided you with books ourselves. If you'd like, we can arrange yoga classes or massages, while the kids can enjoy the nearby activities or have fun in their playhouse in the garden. The harmony of this space and your inner peace are constantly ensured by the trees surrounding the house and the mountains visible from the upstairs windows.

This spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped house is entirely at your disposal. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and oven, a living room with high-quality Hi-Fi equipment, a record player, a vinyl collection, and a cinema projector. A large, beautiful oak table seats 6-8, a barista espresso machine, portable air conditioning in the summer and underfloor heating in the winter, and a fireplace are also featured.

The house is surrounded by trees on all sides and has a large 30m² terrace and a garden with loungers and hammocks.

The house is healthy and eco-friendly – with a wooden structure, and we used clay plaster and paint, linseed oil, and natural stone for the finishing.

We invite you to use our well-equipped kitchen and enjoy slow cooking with local ingredients. You can also cook something straight from the fire – a grill and fireplace are available.

If you'd like a break from cooking, a wide selection of restaurants is available in the surrounding towns, especially Świeradów-Zdrój. If you're lucky, you might even find delicious French crêpes at the food truck of our neighbors from Czerwony Dom.

We invite you to unwind and relax :) You can do this in several ways – in winter, by lying on the sofa and gazing into the fire in the wood-burning stove; in summer, by lounging on the grass, in deckchairs, or hammocks, gazing at the mountains, meadows, or sky (especially recommended at night).

If you fancy some activity, you can light a fire, pick up one of the many inspiring books, wander the countryside in search of the most beautiful half-timbered house, and connect with the locals. Wolimierz is a very atypical Polish village – with scattered buildings, many beautiful half-timbered houses, but above all, with a wonderful, friendly, diverse, and artistic community of refugees from the cities of Poland and Europe.

The immediate area offers numerous hiking, hiking, and cycling trails (road and singletrack), ski slopes and cross-country trails in winter, and beautifully situated mountain lakes, streams, and waterfalls in summer.

Additionally, the surrounding towns are architectural gems, and as if that wasn't enough, we are just a stone's throw from the Czech Republic and two from Germany.

You can enter the realm of imagination at the Wolimierz Station, where you can see giant puppets and set pieces from the Puppet Clinic theater's productions, and enjoy a fantastic playground for wild children (including a zipline, trampolines, wooden structures, and playhouses).

Harry Potter fan gatherings are held at Czocha Castle, underground tunnels can be explored at the Krobica Geopark, a real mill wheel, a bread oven, and devil's legends await you at Czarci Młyn, and Ewa and her wonderful horses await you in Gierczyn. In Świeradów, you'll find three observation towers, including one (Sky Walk) with a downhill slide, and educational trails (e.g., to Zajęcznik). Furthermore, in Wolimierz and the surrounding area, there are several places offering regular handicraft and nature workshops (Jizerska Majstrownia, Szklana Kuźnia, Jizerska Łąka, and Pracownia Piernikowa). As if that wasn't enough, there are plenty of child-friendly, not too demanding trails for both hiking and cycling (e.g. Singletrack and Pumptrack for the little ones).
