At a glance
In Kociewie, we have our own dialect, our own flag, and even... our own sea. The Kociewie Sea is Lake Kałębie, often overflowing with winds perfect for sailing. You won't encounter any noisy motorboats here, as the lake is a quiet zone. Our sandy beach is the perfect place for carefree play for little rojbers (as you call them, rascals), where you can frolic (as you call them, spy) from the large terrace in front of the cottage or from a hammock. If you feel like wandering (as you call it, wandering) around the area, you can cycle around our entire sea. We also have kayaks and stand-up paddleboards available on-site, so you can set off on (almost) a sea cruise at any time of day, watching for sunrises, sunsets, and rare bird species. Come to Kociewie, look out for bluebells (as you say, cornflowers), and if you come in autumn – pack baskets for snotty pampas (as you say, buttercups).

Hi, it's Joanna. I've always dreamed of creating a vacation haven for travelers who value comfortable relaxation, but also intimacy, quiet, and closeness to nature.
My journey began with a search for the right plot—with the immediate proximity of a lake being the only criterion. I don't know if it was blind fate or perhaps destiny that brought me to Lake Kałębie in Kociewie, in the Tuchola Forest buffer zone. But when I stood on the shore of the frozen lake, under a blue winter sky, I knew the search was over.
My place consists of four houses that offer you comfort and convenience. I value your discretion and intimate relaxation. I hope that watching the sunsets from the terrace sofa or leisurely traversing the lake in our kayaks will take you to this wonderful experience—blissful relaxation—or, to put it simply, a labyrinth.
