Anyone who has braved the climb of Babia Góra knows that Babia has its own unique microclimate, and we share it with you. Our cottages are located right on one of the trails, on the edge of Babia Góra National Park. The weather here is always a little different, and if you're looking for snow in winter, we're sure to have it – even if the weather isn't ideal for skiers a few kilometers away. In the warmer months, a babbling mountain stream provides 24-hour music for guests – to help them sleep, enjoy their morning coffee, or gaze at the mountains from a hammock in the afternoon. Whether you choose a tiny house with a meadow-covered roof or a two-story cottage with a bathtub in the bedroom (just be careful of the steep stairs!), after hiking the Beskid trails, you'll find a hot sauna, jacuzzi, or tub, plus a fireplace to warm up. Need even more coziness? Enjoy board games or create a home cinema with soft blankets. In the morning, the sun will rise again and you will welcome a new day with breakfast on the terrace and a view of the forests, which are constantly changing shades of green.

Szumichatka and Szumidomki – three facets of rustic tranquility.

We invite you to a place where time flows to the rhythm of a babbling stream, and the line between home and forest blurs on the terrace. Our settlement comprises three unique cottages, each offering blissful relaxation in harmony with nature, while maintaining a warm rustic style.

Choose the perfect space for your needs:
• Szumichatka – our iconic home with a plant-covered roof and a crackling fire in the fireplace. Here, you will experience the true magic of being close to nature in its most cozy form. Exclusively for Szumichatka guests, a sauna (included in the reservation price) and a hot tub (for an additional fee) in the forest by the stream are available. The tiny house accommodates 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children, and two low mezzanines for sleeping (plus a fold-out sofa downstairs).

• Like the Sun – a house bathed in warm colors, created for those who love to cherish moments. A freestanding bathtub in the bedroom promises a deep relaxation unlike any other. The ground-floor cottage features a spacious living room with a kitchenette, dining area, bathroom, and terrace overlooking the forest and stream. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms.

• I'm Green – a spacious oasis for a family or group of friends (up to 6 people). Interiors inspired by the colors of nature and a large terrace right by the stream encourage conversation and deep breathing. The ground-floor cottage features a spacious living room with a kitchenette, dining area, bathroom, and terrace overlooking the forest and stream. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms.

All of our cottages are just steps from the forest and mountain stream, where you'll find the peace and quiet you're looking for amidst the sounds of water and birdsong. No matter which one you choose, nature is always within your reach.

We've prepared a unique space for our guests – a "chillout zone" with a forest view, which you can reserve just for yourself (PLN 75/hour). It's the perfect solution for a private movie night or relaxing in the jacuzzi or sauna without anyone else.
Our chillout zone is a place where no one gets bored, regardless of the weather. Guests in the chillout zone have access to:
• Relaxation: A year-round jacuzzi and infrared sauna (ideal for quick regeneration).
• Entertainment: A professional pool table, ping-pong table, and a games corner.
• Cinema under the stars (and indoors): A multimedia projector – perfect for evening movie screenings or watching sports together.
This space is designed for socializing, having fun, and relaxing with a view of the forest and the murmur of the stream in the background.

Please note - the "chillout zone" is a winter garden with the above-mentioned attractions available to each cottage under the above conditions. Guests of Szumichatka have an additional hot tub and barrel sauna within the fenced area of Szumichatka by the stream, which are not available to guests of other Szumidomki.

Each Szumidomki has a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary dishes and utensils. Please note that Szumichatka doesn't have a dishwasher due to its limited space. You can easily stock up on groceries nearby (including local produce), and cooking in such natural surroundings is pure pleasure. For those who don't enjoy cooking, there are plenty of local restaurants to choose from.

Everyone will find something for themselves here. You can walk straight to Babia Góra from our house, as we are located on the border of Babia Góra National Park and on one of the trails to Babia Góra. Forests are everywhere, perfect for hiking or cycling. In about an hour or less, you can reach Krakow, Zakopane, Lankorona, Wadowice, Lake Żywieckie, Lake Mucharskie, etc. – for your convenience, we have a mini guide to the area, which describes the attractions of this region.

On-site, you can light a bonfire or lie in a hammock in the forest by the stream. In summer, a cool dip in the stream, and in winter, winter swimming is an unforgettable experience.

The microclimate here is amazing, as we are located on the border of Babia Góra National Park and on one of the trails to Babia Góra. In winter, when others don't have snow, we have 99% of it here.

We also offer guests in so-called "snow lodges." In the winter garden, there's a chill-out area, described above, which guests of each of the three cottages can rent exclusively for an additional fee.

Additionally, guests at Szumichatka have access to a hot tub (for an additional fee) and a barrel sauna (included in the reservation price). Board games are available in each cottage.

In addition to the attractions described above, nearby (about 300 meters) there's a large playground with a stunning view of Babia Góra. There's also a mini zoo at the Beskidzki Raj Hotel, alpacas, and herds of sheep grazing here and there. 15 km away in Zubrzyca Górna is Wypasiona Dolina (Fancy Valley), which features a ropes course and other attractions for children. Another ropes course is 2 km away.

Working in such natural surroundings is a pleasure :) We don't provide a desk, but we have pretty decent wifi and you can work from bed or from the terrace - in both cases with a view of the forest, which is literally a few (not a dozen, but a few!) meters away from us.
