At a glance
Our stone house has a long history, dating back to 1898, but it's still ready for new adventures. It boasts 400 m² of space for your time together, but it also offers nooks and crannies for those who prefer to curl up with a book. A shoemaker once lived here, then students, and for the past 18 years, it's been our second home. We renovated it slowly, preserving its old and distinctive features. We furnished Hucianka with items that have a history – found at flea markets, inherited, and brought back from travels. We didn't want the house to be perfect. We wanted it to feel our own, comfortable, and a bit like old times. In summer, it smells of lavender, in autumn, of forest and mushrooms, and in winter, the best time is spent by the fire.
From home, you can hit the Jizera Mountains trails, go skiing in Jakuszyce or Świeradów, or visit the Czech Republic or Germany. But you can also stay home all day. Cook something together, sit at the table for a long time, read, bathe in a tin tub in the garden, or light a bonfire. Hucianka is for those who enjoy old walls, things with history, nature, shared life, and a bit of peace and quiet.

We are Asia and Radek. 18 years ago, we came to Antoniów and became the owners of Hucianka, a stone house over a hundred years old. Back then, it required a lot of work, but which immediately captivated us. The house was neither beautiful nor ready to welcome guests. However, there was something about it that was impossible to miss – it had character.
The house was built in 1898 (we discovered the date on the stone). Today, it's our second home, filled with history and furniture from our travels and flea markets. We've preserved the character of an old house, where you can slow down and relax in the spacious interiors or garden. You can lounge by the fireplace, read books, cook and enjoy meals, go to the forest to search for mushrooms or other forest bounty, and also engage in various activities both near and far.
For a long time, the house was exclusively a gathering place for family and friends. Today, we want to share it with you.
Who is Hucianka for? For those who appreciate the atmosphere of old houses more than new apartments. For those who want to spend time together or simply get away for a few days.
