In Antoniów, life is rural, and the world changes much more slowly than in the cities. It's full of historic houses that have stood uninterrupted for over a century or two, and around them, the Jizera Mountains remain untouched for several million years. Our stone house has seen its share of adventures, too; it was built in 1898, but it's still ready for new adventures. For the past 18 years, it has experienced its share of adventures with our family, patiently undergoing renovations. Now it's waiting for your ideas, and believe us, the possibilities are endless. When the mood strikes, you can even take a trip abroad (or two!) and be back in time for dinner. Whether you head for the mountains or immerse yourself in the rural life of Antoniów, you'll have a wonderful time.

We admit that we love collecting trinkets from flea markets, but that's fortunate, because Hucianka wouldn't be the same without them. It's full of antiques and memorabilia, which we've encountered ourselves, but also found from the previous owners. Before the war, this was a shoemaker's shop, where the cobbler sewed shoes for local residents and weary travelers. Today, this house still lives – with an idyllic and leisurely rhythm, from the first rooster crow and the morning rays of sunlight breaking over the Jizera Mountains. In autumn, it smells of dried mushrooms; we have plenty of them in the nearby forests (and the forest is just steps from the plot). In winter, it's a warm haven amid the snow, a place you gladly return to for a fire in the fireplace and a Christmas borscht. Pack your friends and family, and come and enjoy some time here.

Hucianka offers 400 square meters of space just for you. We don't rent individual rooms – you get the entire old stone house, garden, and terrace. There are three bedrooms (two with a mezzanine) and three bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bathtub, one with both a shower and a bathtub), a large kitchen with a dining area, and additional relaxation space where you can work, read, or simply do nothing. In summer, it smells of lavender, in autumn of forest and mushrooms, and in winter, the house is best enjoyed by the fire.

We're not preparing meals yet, but we can recommend places where you can stock up on local produce (e.g., milk, eggs, seasonal fruit (berries), etc.). There are also some recommended restaurants in the area for those who don't want to spend their vacation in the kitchen. A full list of locations and phone numbers is available on-site.

A house surrounded by forests, meadows, and fields awaits you, along with many interesting places to discover both near and far. Antoniów and the surrounding villages (Kopaniec, Chromiec, Stara Kamienica) are atmospheric villages, where you won't encounter many people even in high season. Remember, we're located near the Polish-Czech-German border. You can explore the surrounding areas, and you can cross a country or even two in an hour. The cottage offers plenty of space for rest and recreation, including hammocks, a barbecue area, and a bonfire. In summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms, blueberries, and wild strawberries nearby. You can also hike in the mountains (behind the house begin trails to Rozdroże Izerskie, Wysoki Kamień, Wolframowe Źródło, Bobrowe Skały, etc.), or drive to Szklarska Poręba (18 km/23 minutes) or Świeradów Zdrój (20 km/25 minutes), where you can take mountain trails and see the real Jizera Mountains. You can also cycle nearby—forest paths begin behind the house. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing in Jakuszyce (26 km/30 minutes) or skiing in Świeradów-Zdrój (20 km/25 minutes). For those looking to explore historical sites, the Knight's Tower in Siedlęcin, Czocha Castle, Frydlant Castle, and dozens of other sites await. Prague or Dresden are a two-hour drive away.

At home, you'll find games and board games, table football, scooters, a telescope for observing the sky, tree swings, and a fold-out pool for splashing around on warm days. Nearby, there are trees for climbing, a meadow for running, a forest for playing hide-and-seek, and a shallow stream for wading in the water on warm days. Antoniów is a true village, where you can also see cows, goats, chickens, and other wildlife.
