The Drawieński Juulchin* don't shy away from wilderness. They don't gravitate towards touristy regions—instead, they choose the wilderness of Lubusz Voivodeship. This is where one of the least popular and most stunning National Parks in Poland lies—Drawieński. Within it: lakes and rivers brimming with trout and salmon, including the eponymous Drawa, where you can experience almost whitewater rafting. Lubusz Voivodeship offers plenty of wilderness for everyone, as it's the most forested voivodeship in Poland. And it's here, in a forest clearing adjacent to the meanderings of the Drawa, that I created the Dacza Puchacza glamping site. It has a long history of yurts, and now it's joined by hammocks, for those of you who want to try a completely new form of relaxation. Get even closer to the forest.
A hammock is the easiest way to sleep in the forest without any additional walls. To experience its scents, sounds, and mystery at night. Four comfortable, two-person hammocks, designed for sleeping under the stars, have found their home in the forest on the edge of the Dacha Puchacza glamping site. Each hammock has its own, subtly defined space, resulting from the natural structure of the forest. I left this space intact so that those relaxing in the hammocks could become part of its rhythm. Next to the hammocks are tree trunks and comfortable armchairs, inviting you to relax, chat, and be "here and now." This is a place where preparing a meal becomes a simple and enjoyable ritual – over a fire or on the grill, under the open sky, surrounded by the scent of wood and the sound of a crackling fire.
You can rent a hammock with full equipment, with sleeping bags and pillows as an option. On-site sanitary facilities include an eco-friendly toilet and an outdoor shower.

Welcome to the wilderness. Here, the rhythm of the day is dictated by nature, and the silence is broken only by birdsong and the murmur of the nearby Drava River.
In the heart of the forest lies the fire zone – a unique space created for spending time together. The focal point is a fireplace, where you can prepare a meal over the fire or simply sit in the evening and enjoy the warmth of the flames and the unique atmosphere of the forest. Right next to it is a covered wooden shelter with a large table, providing a comfortable place to gather, regardless of the weather. It's an ideal space for long conversations, family gatherings, and celebrating moments close to nature.
Guests seeking deep relaxation can enjoy a private sauna session, allowing them to relax their body and mind after a day spent in the great outdoors.
For those who enjoy active recreation, there's also a games zone equipped with a volleyball and badminton court, as well as a ping-pong table. It's the perfect place for active recreation, friendly competition, and spending time together outdoors.
It's best to start the morning with a cup of coffee or tea on the terrace. Just sit back, relax, and gaze out at the greenery and distant horizon, while listening to the birdsong in the background. It's the perfect way to start the day peacefully.
When you finally decide to leave the hammock, it's time for a micro-adventure. Just a few steps away are the Drawa River, forests, and vast meadows. On hot days, the river offers a pleasant cooling effect – its current has already been tested by those who created this place.
And since there's a river, there are also kayaks. You can start your next kayaking trip right in our village. The Drawskie Kajaki Foundation organizes kayaking trips on the Drawa River, allowing you to see Drawieński National Park from a completely different perspective. Routes can be tailored to your skill level – from quiet, relaxing sections to more challenging, almost mountainous ones. With a bit of luck, you might even spot an otter along the trail.
When you're in the buffer zone of Drawa National Park, it's hard to resist a stroll through one of Poland's wildest national parks. This place captivates with its tranquility, vast forests, and nearly deserted trails. Walking or cycling, you'll pass old farmhouses with colorful doors, wooden porches, and shutters, often encountering no one along the way.
And there's plenty to discover. The trails of Drawa National Park total over 230 kilometers and lead through over 11,500 hectares of forest stretching across the borders of the Greater Poland, Lubusz, and West Pomeranian Voivodeships. It's a land of rivers – the Drawa, Płociczna, Słopica, Runica, and Cieszynka – lakes, and the remains of former mills, steelworks, bindugs, and eel mills.
Worth knowing: the park boasts 20 lakes of very diverse character. Only one of them – Lake Ostrowieckie – is exempt from the swimming and fishing ban.
If you'd like to explore the area even further, we'd be happy to recommend a trusted guide. They can organize a tour of Drawa National Park or the surrounding area, which holds many fascinating stories and places perfect for urbex enthusiasts. Nearby, you'll find former German fortifications, the ruins of a watermill, wooden bridges, and even the remains of the von Zabeltitz family palace. Pack some sandwiches, sling a backpack over your shoulders, and set off to discover what's happening in the Lubusz Voivodeship.
For cycling enthusiasts, we especially recommend the route along Lake Ostrowite. It's worth stopping at the viewpoint with a panoramic view of the tree-covered island in the middle of the lake. You can get there by following the green and yellow trails.
Three picturesque loops await cyclists:
Zatom Loop (red) – 20.64 km,
Barnimie Loop (blue) – 33.16 km,
Głusko Loop (green) – 23.50 km.
You can rent bikes on site – pick them up in the morning and return them in the evening, spending the day exploring the forest trails around the Hammocks at your own pace.

If you dream of something more than blissful laziness in a hammock, a unique adventure awaits you in the heart of Drawa National Park. We recommend visiting the Mierzęcin Vineyard and the Equus Vineyard, where you can combine tasting local wines with discovering the region's charms.
Horse lovers will also find something for themselves. A short distance from the Hamaks – approximately 15–20 km – are the JZ Guest Ranch – Zawadzcy Guest Ranch and the Van Szok Stable (Reitstall Birkenhof), offering horseback riding and contact with these extraordinary animals.
I'm almost certain that children will fall in love with this place from the very first moment.
Year-round, you can run around the vast grounds, relax in hammocks, and explore the surrounding wilderness. Just a few steps away is the Drawa River, where kids can build stone bridges and create their own river structures. And if you feel like a joint expedition, be sure to head to Drawa National Park for the "Ostrowiec Lake" educational trail – it's a great way to combine fun with exploring the extraordinary natural surroundings.
