How many hotels do you know where the manager spends all day in the flowerbeds by the courtyard, while the boss runs around the wilderness with the guests, organizing bike rides for them? Now there's at least one. Folwark Łękuk, founded by Iza and Krzysztof on the ruins of a former Prussian estate, is a voice of protest against the successive glass houses being built by the lakes. And proof that large scale doesn't have to mean a lack of warmth and commitment. Our eco-friendly hotel complex is full of heart and ideas. The chef invites guests to workshops on Old Prussian cuisine with Masurian housewives, and Iza leads year-round garden activities for everyone. It's worth noting that this is likely the largest permaculture garden for a hotel in Poland. Krzysztof organizes sporting expeditions, while the rest of the staff organizes adventure quests. We also invite you to the spa, where we use our own rapeseed oil for one of our many treatments, Ayurveda. Did we mention that we have 100 hectares of our own fields?

And although our farm is a large property, you have to believe that our guests love peace, Masurian nature, activity, and excellent cuisine. We will welcome you in one of the rooms and apartments in the main hotel building. They are ideal for families, for whom we provide all the amenities for children. Occasionally, corporate events or weddings take place in the main hotel building. We never accommodate individual guests in rooms next to those attending the event unless they expressly indicate that it doesn't bother them. Guests are always informed of this and provided with a set of earplugs and the quietest room possible.

Folwark Łękuk is a lakeside hotel (80 beds), located in the Garbate Mazury region, right next to the Borecka Forest.

Each room and suite has its own bathroom and the amenities of a three-star hotel. Rooms are located in different areas of the hotel, inspired by the history, nature, and philosophy of the facility.

Ogień i Woda Restaurant – we cook on-site, slowly and honestly, using vegetables, fruits, and herbs from our own garden, rapeseed oil pressed from our own seeds, and products from regional suppliers and local farmers.

The menu combines the regional flavors of Masuria with European cuisine: Masurian fish soup, dumplings with buckwheat and goat cheese, potato pancakes, zander, perch, whole roasted trout, duck, Masurian lamb loin, homemade desserts, and dishes for vegetarians, vegans, and children.

Breakfasts here are filled with the aromas of herbs, fresh bread, and scrambled eggs fried right in front of guests on a tiled stove – just like at Grandma's, only with a view of Lake Łękuk and the Borecka Forest.

Homemade bread - a blast, daily sophisticated dishes like zucchini pâté, spinach roulades, mushroom rolls, tarts, crumpets, a selection of homemade meats and cheeses, fish, a variety of hot dishes (not one of them repeated during the week :O), sweets, vegetables, salads, side dishes... the list goes on - and that's just breakfast!!! We ordered other meals (apart from a barbecue dinner in a charming tavern) from the restaurant, and we weren't disappointed there either. The pike-perch and perch were our favorites, but the other items were also a big plus. For those craving fast food, the beach bar is a great option, offering drinks and ice cream as well."

A sandy beach, piers, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, an electric raft, and pedal boats allow you to enjoy the lake. Hammocks, loungers, and swings hidden among the willows remind you that sometimes it's best to simply unplug and contemplate nature.

Bicycle enthusiasts are invited to explore the trails of the Garbate Mazury region, leading through meadows, small villages, and the forest paths of the Borecka Forest. Trekking and electric bikes, as well as trailers and chairs for children, are available for rent.

There are also unused walking, running, and Nordic walking paths around the Folwark. A tennis court, playing fields, and a games room are available on-site.

We organize themed workshops, creative activities, and classes with yoga, dance, and mobility instructors. Bison and wolf hunting expeditions, forest bathing, and gardening workshops are all unique adventures. Folwark also co-organizes the Borecka Łękuk Trail.

In winter, the lake and forest change scenery but retain their charm. Cross-country skiing trails, a natural ice rink, and family entertainment await. After a day of activity, you can warm up in the spa or Russian banya and relax with the feeling that nature is the host here, and you are its attentive guests.
