At a glance
Did you know that Lanzarote has only one skyscraper, and hotels are not allowed to tower over palm trees? Spanish artist César Manrique ensured that nothing obscures the wild, volcanic landscapes. Thanks to him, instead of hotel walls on the coast, we have sculptures moved by the strong Canary winds. We'll tell you where to spot them and reveal which spots you won't find in tourist guides. If you're not a competitive cyclist (and those are often drawn to this area), we recommend renting a car, which will take you from the airport to one of our two spacious casitas in 25 minutes.
We invite you to experience the Canary Islands in a slower way. Here, you can soak in our heated pool, snooze with a book on the terrace, and then (this is a must, no excuses!), grab dinner at the local teleclub. There, you'll find the most delicious and authentic local food, just like at a yeya (a Canarian grandma). Tele clubs often feature the sounds of the timple (a small Spanish guitar), and waiters eagerly recite menus from under the counter. A holiday in Lanzarote is all about eating, talking, eating, talking, and, of course, admiring the views.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help
Hi, my name is Darek. My husband, Andrzej, and I fell in love with Lanzarote and decided to create a place we'd love to return to ourselves. That's how Casitas Santa Rita was born – an intimate retreat in the north of the island for those who value tranquility, good design, and authentic travel. We've been exploring Lanzarote for years and are constantly finding new places, which we're happy to share with our guests. Instead of a list of must-see attractions, we recommend our favorite restaurants, beaches, trails, and spots that often aren't found in guidebooks. We hope you'll fall in love with this island as much as we do during your stay.
