Imagine a warm afternoon on the veranda. The sun warms your body, the scent of summer hangs in the air, birds sing, trees rustle, and you can hear frogs croaking and fish splashing from the lake. It's the perfect place to take a nap, read a book, sip a cold lemonade, and savor the sweet pleasures of doing nothing. This is precisely what a veranda is for, a place designed for rest and relaxation in the heart of the Puszcza Zielonka landscape park.

By Lakes Księże and Borowie in Greater Poland, we've created a suburban oasis of carefree relaxation. The elegant Villa and Residence have just been joined by the Forest Roosting Cottages. The quintuplets nestle among the pine trees and are perfect for anyone seeking an independent holiday: introverts and early risers, sleepyheads and families with little ones, dog lovers and cat lovers. For all those who value privacy, the scent of resin, morning swims in the lake, and evening gatherings by the fire. We'll pamper you with breakfasts from our organic garden, and we'll offer bike rentals and boat trips to the center of the lake. Come for yoga on the pier, walks in the forest, and discovering the Cistercian Trail.

We have five cottages for you in the heart of the Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park. Enjoy swimming in the lake, boating, cycling, and the smell of resin. The cottages are located in our Weranda Home complex, nestled in a pine forest, approximately 150-200 meters from the Manor House and Villa.

The cottages comfortably sleep 4 people, with a maximum of 6, although the mezzanine is ideal for couples with children. They are approximately 10-15 meters apart and offer views of the forest and other cottages, but don't worry – you won't be looking into each other's windows.

Each cottage has a living room with a fold-out sofa, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a mezzanine with a large mattress, and a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Additionally, the property includes:

Pets are welcome, but we ask that you stay responsibly – other guests with dogs are allowed on the premises.

In the kitchen, we focus on creativity, the natural quality of ingredients, and a keen sense of taste. Inspired by culinary travels, experience gained in top restaurants, and culinary skills and talent, the dishes we serve are a fusion of international and Polish cuisine with regional, Greater Poland accents. We are characterized by a passion for flavor and a love of nature. This allows us to create unique flavor combinations using seasonal ingredients sourced from local suppliers.

You can prepare your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen or enjoy the Rezydencja restaurant.

This is where you come simply to be. Our guests have proven this, and our family has proven it. It's here that in the morning, after a pleasant yoga session on the pier, you can jump into Lake Księża or Lake Borowie, then enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the Weranda villa, and walk or bike to the summit of Dziewicza Góra – the highest point in the Zielonka Forest. There, you can climb the fire watchtower, which boasts an observation deck.

Lakeside boats, bicycles, and Nordic walking poles are at your disposal.

We offer a unique relaxation and health treatment in the Finnish sauna located on the Weranda Home grounds, nestled among the trees, right on Lake Książe. This location not only allows you to relax close to nature but also provides the opportunity to cool down, not only in the shower but also in the cool waters of the lake. The alternating effects of heat and cold have a very beneficial effect on the body, improving immunity.

The high temperature and low humidity experienced in a sauna help maintain healthy skin and good heart health. The heat relieves tension, improves mood, and reduces fatigue, so this treatment can provide relief for those suffering from depression or simply feeling low.

Our Zielonka Forest boasts eight cycling routes of varying lengths, including the DPR Large Cycling Ring, the CRS Cistercian Cycling Trail, the Warta River, Trojanka (Goślinka), Struga Wierzenicka, and Dzwonowski Stream, as well as lakes: Czarne, Pławno, Kościołek, Leśne, Bolechowskie, Kamińskie, and Miejskie. Here, in the village of Owińska, you can also see the Greater Poland Bartek Oak, which has been growing continuously for 600 years and has a circumference of 770 cm. According to legend, the tree was planted by King Władysław Jagiełło to commemorate the conversion of Lithuania and the victorious Battle of Grunwald. A trusted knight named Bartek is said to have done this. Emperor Napoleon also reportedly admired the tree when he visited the Owińska monastery in 1806.

If you're still not satisfied with the natural wonders, be sure to visit the fauna reserve in the Bracholin Lakes. It was established because 139 species of birds, including 68 breeding species, live in the local waters. You can spot, among others, the extremely rare woolly duck, the greylag goose, several species of grebe, and even the short-eared owl.

In the evening, you can light a bonfire, jump into the lake, cast a fishing rod, or sit on the forest terrace with a book.

It's hard to find a place in Greater Poland, or perhaps even all of Poland, where children have so many natural attractions. A forest, two lakes right on your doorstep and a dozen more a bit further, excellent bike paths, and plenty of grass to romp around in. You can burn off your batteries, have fun, swim, go boating, soak your feet on the jetty, and roast sausages over a campfire. Plus, there are bike rides, nature trails in the Zielonka Forest, scavenger hunts, aquatic spider watching, fishing with a rod, searching for deer, and spotting birdwatching clues. We also have a small playground and sometimes invite alpacas over.

Congratulations! You've just found the perfect place for a workation. Each of our cottages features round tables where you can comfortably perform your daily duties. In the apartments, you'll find desks or tables. The internet here whizzes by at the speed of a falcon—not a rapper's falcon, but the fastest bird in the world—the peregrine falcon.

We have a projector and screen, a printer, a flipchart, and a TV, and upon request, we can provide them in the conference room and in the Villa. You can also leave the meal arrangements in our hands, allowing you to learn even more about our history.
