If you only associate Racławice with history lessons or Matejko's painting, it's time to change that, because Kościuszko isn't the only thing we live for here. You probably didn't attend the national Wojciech and Bartosz Rally, or support the candidates in our Peasant of the Year elections, which is a shame! Fortunately, you don't have to buy folk costumes or practice your horseshoe throwing skills to appreciate the charms of the Miechów Upland. We won't be giving you a quiz on Kościuszko either – but you can, because perhaps visiting the former battlefield will awaken a passion for history within you.
To start, however, all you need to do is gather with a larger group of family or friends (be sure to bring Bartek or Wojtek, if you know one) – for a special occasion or for nothing at all. Then, just decide who gets first at the ping-pong table, who plays foosball, and who prefers a lazy relaxing time in the jacuzzi. There's so much space in the house and surrounding area that everyone will find their own space, even if you need a moment of quiet. The bedrooms feature desks for creative work with views of rolling meadows and a mosaic of fields, and for the little ones, we've set up a play area that will keep them occupied for hours. Less than an hour's travel from Krakow transports you to a completely different dimension of relaxation.

My name is Łukasz and I'm the host of Osnowa Racławice.
I've always believed that the most valuable luxury isn't things, but time – time spent with family, friends, and yourself. In a constantly accelerating world, it's increasingly difficult to find a place where you can simply slow down, breathe, and be truly present. It was from this need that Osnowa Racławice was born.
I didn't want to create another rental home. I dreamed of a place I would happily return to with my loved ones – a place that provides space for conversation, shared meals, laughter, relaxation, and building memories.
That's why Osnowa is more than just a comfortable home. It offers over a hectare of greenery, the wide horizons of the Miechów Upland, morning coffee on the terrace, evenings by the fire, relaxation in the sauna or jacuzzi, and time spent together playing billiards, table tennis, or board games. I wanted to create a space where everyone – regardless of age – will find something for themselves.
I place great emphasis on quality and detail. I strive to ensure everything is prepared just as I would like to find the place during my own trip. I believe that it's the small touches, comfort, and atmosphere that make a stay memorable.
