In Dobrocin, as everyone knows, we do good, and in many forms. Sourdough starter, from which we bake homemade bread, is good. We have a knack for bees, the garden, and all living creatures. We enjoy good company for long nights of conversation and wild children's games in the garden. We enjoy living here, in this century-old forester's lodge, so we gladly invite guests to share all that's best about it.

If you're looking for rural tranquility for a family getaway combined with a workation or exploring Masuria and Teutonic castles, you don't have to travel far. Just an hour from Gdańsk or three from Warsaw, and you can be nestled among villages, forests, and lakes, all with delicious, healthy food included. Comfortable rooms await you on-site, as well as breakfasts and dinners prepared with local ingredients and natural resources. Plus, there's a safe space for kids (and plenty of company from both children and animals!) and a 60-meter zipline that both young and old will enjoy. Just light a fire or candles in the shared barn, and then you can chat, feast, and enjoy the silence late into the night. That's how life is here; try it for yourself.

In the attic of a century-old forester's lodge, two spacious apartments await, each with its own character and its own bathroom with a shower.

The Forest Room – a cozy bedroom with wooden beams and a forest atmosphere. A double bed and a fold-out sofa – perfect for a couple or a family with a child (max. 4 people).

The Sky Room – a spacious bedroom with a distinctive deep blue wall. A double bed and two fold-out futons – perfect for a family or group of friends up to six.

Both rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. Between the rooms, guests have access to the Meadow kitchenette. Equipped with a refrigerator, a stovetop, and all the necessary utensils, it's the perfect place to prepare simple meals. A play area with toys and board games awaits the youngest guests.

We cook our own meals – using locally sourced ingredients, nutritious, healthy, and with love. Breakfast is included in the price and served daily around 9:00 AM. There's always something warm on the table – millet porridge, oatmeal, shakshuka, or scrambled eggs – homemade bread, freshly squeezed juices, and coffee from a friendly local roastery. In summer, we take breakfast to the terrace or barn.

We return to our roots – we bake sourdough bread, make cheese and cold cuts, brew beer, and harvest honey. Patrycja passionately tends her garden and draws inspiration from it for her cooking. We serve regional flavors with a modern twist.

Optional dinners are available – nutritious soups, casseroles, pasta, and homemade pizza. Coffee and tea are available to guests all day long, and there's always something sweet to go with your coffee ;)

Boredom is impossible here – although if you're so inclined, you can lie in a hammock and listen to the silence all day long. And that's also the plan.

On-site, you'll find a garden with several hundred plant species, a private pond, deckchairs, a terrace, and a board game corner for the whole family. In the evenings, we light a bonfire or grill in the barn and chat by candlelight.

For active people – the area offers a wealth of opportunities. The region's biggest attraction is the Elbląg Canal, where ships navigate slipways onto land – a phenomenon unique in the world. The bike trail along the Canal is one of the most beautiful routes in this part of Poland – you'll receive a route map from us upon check-in. You can reach the nearby lake on foot in just a few minutes.

A short drive away are Teutonic castles, Frombork with its Copernicus Cathedral, Malbork, Elbląg, and Ostróda. The seaside is less than two hours away. And if you plan to reach us by train, bus or bike – let us know, we can pick you up from a nearby town.

The Dobrocin Forester's Lodge is a place where children feel at home from the very first moment. A large garden with a meadow, its own pond, freedom, and space to run around – it's a true paradise for the little ones.

A corner with board games, puzzles, and toys awaits on-site. A real highlight is the sixty-meter zipline – a guaranteed adrenaline rush for children and adults alike. The grounds are home to goats, rabbits, cats, and a dog – daily encounters with the animals are an unforgettable experience for children.

Our children enjoy playing with our guests – there's always something going on in the yard.

Parents enjoy peace of mind – it's a safe, intimate place away from the hustle and bustle, where children can simply be children.

The Dobrocin Forester's Lodge is a great place for those who want to combine remote work with true relaxation. A stable internet connection is available throughout the house.

Each room offers a workspace – you can set up your laptop at the table, and instead of the city concrete, you can see a garden and greenery outside. The peace and quiet promote concentration.
